Do we still require a custom paper for cars claimed to have been bought brand new in Nigeria?

I saw a car I like and the seller says no custom papers, having bought same in 2010 as 0 mileage and didn't request for custom paper.

How safe am I?

My brother, I feel your pain. I'm not even an owner but a middleman. I direct prospective buyers to the owners so they can inspect and agree on a price. Over the Muslim holidays, computerglobal offered a free VIN/License plate check so I thought why not give him one of the cars I've been told to source for buyers for to check. To my greatest surprise, the report came to me stating that the car was recorded a total loss. I didn't bother confronting the owner, I just registered the adverts as "SOLD ". While middlemen do all they can to get some money in their pockets, some owners are dubious and untrustworthy. I urge everyone I meet to do a research online and physical inspection is a must. Since then I've stuck to advertising and selling only my brother-in-law's cars as those are the only ones I'm sure of. Please let's be careful and honest here. Buying a car is a big deal

In this part of the world where corporate laws are hardly enforced, getting lustful advances from that male boss of yours (especially if you're physically attractive) is something that wouldn't be so new to you.

One thing I've come to observe is that most of the male bosses/employers who are fond of this shameful act are often married with kids. They don't try to hide it from you; they always show that all they want is just to sleep with the person and move onto the next. While some ladies fall for this, others do not.

Some of the victims of this act of predation are merely desperate to keep or secure their jobs; they are needy and are ready to work to support themselves and their loved ones, whereas some ladies are simply promiscuous, fun-seeking, greedy and money-blinded and wouldn’t mind going down with this kind of men.

Personally, I left my previous job because I didn't heed to my ex-boss' advances, and he started making frustrating moves till I couldn't bare it anymore, I left without getting paid for 2 months of work. Now it seems that my present boss is following the same path.

What is the best way to handle a randy boss without losing a job? If you have had such experience, how did you handle it? Please contribute.

That was how one NL dealer made me travel to Port Harcourt for a car that wasn't his to sell. The funny part was that he evaded me during the visit.

hope it's not same dealer that made me fly to Ph and thereafter refused to pick call

May be I'll see my 2008/2010 in excellent condition and at good price.

What I've seen so far are not worth it and are over priced.

Getting a 2008/2010 requiring about 200k to fix, at a price between 1.3-1.5m wouldn't be bad

Just be careful, I feel in the long run, u won't like turnout of event. Dealers can package and hide anything. One machine I know does a good check is very expensive. Well if u have it then good. Just be careful. U have a good name here

If i meet seller here, of course, without paying yet, he wont want to bring it now if I say we should come to your workshop together. For instance, if seller is in VI and car is in VI

Please I need your advice . Any time I park the car and start the car to move, the gear knob is always stiff until I press the button above "P". Please what is the cause and likely solution to this issue. Meanwhile, the gear select very well and transmit smoothly. Thanks as I await your responses. Pic is attached.

If you want to buy a used car and have peace of mind don't buy cars advertised online. They are mostly overpriced and lemons.

Ask around ur locality you will surely get a better deal.

Yes I do. It's only the type that has alarm and opens the door. It's has not activation security button that I need to press before starting the car
