am grateful to God for journey mercy from nigeria down to manchester, got to the UK this morning and want to relief those guys that have gotten their visas by telling them there is nothing like showing your maintainance funds at the point of entry, i had a very wonderful experience from naija to manchester without any itch, so nobody should be scared, the only place i had lil issues was in naija,our immigration officers demanded bribe from one check point to the very last checkpoint but i made sure i didnt fall for it, i would advise we all keep our educational documents we used in applying for the visa in a hand luggage and not the main bag cos the corupt nigerian immigration officers will want to play on your intelligence if they see you dont have it at hand, please we should all liv as soon as possible cos they just suspended all visa applications till further notice and might want to take more strict measures wen its mid september cos there will be many students travelling at that time, i wish every body best of luck,and for the people still awaiting;i hope the suspension will not affect your application, all the best

@ssil yeah that's very cool!! i've been re-checking the airlines, airfrance and klm too, but i'm still stubbornly hoping i can make emirates (lol as if my daddy has shares there they way i'm hustling)!

@adeolu, sorry dear, even if five iraqis came in here and said they used 'legal guardian' or 'joint account' to get their visa, i would say its STILL not a good idea. imagine if your friend tells you he's got money for you but instead of giving it to you he'll give it to a friend he knows, in your mind you will DEFINITELY say 'but its my money why arent you giving it to me' same kind of situation, if its for you, whats it doing somewhere else? just chill and get it done right.

That's cos the legal is not for you o! You're well over 16. Only in naija is it 'ok' to be claiming adoption and legal guardian at 25! Save yourself plenty of wahala and suspicion and use ur own

Sorry, mixed that up , its the one that goes to madrid (iberia) I think, and I think KLM also has a long wait inberween. Short waits are also discouraged o, cos if there's a delay from lagos, you're more likely to miss your flight. I wouldn't say I've heard any especially bad reviews on airfrance,but I've heard ONLY good things of emirates. How much luggage does airfrance allow you?

I can get a 96hr wateva frm emirates, and yes I compared ALL(that I don't mind flying)Qatar, iberia and Arik is NOT an option, and trust me, emirates was cheaper(oneway), I'll hv to pre-pack before I book

Yeah I know, but its not like I'm in any particular hurry to get to london. Arik is NOT an option! Plus emirates is FAR cheaper than VA or BA, and dubai is ALWAYS fun to go to. But yh the 30kg is my nemesis (airfrance will make me sit at the airport till my legs grow roots! At least dubai I can enter)

Where I live we know what electricity does, its an electrical charge that enables you to power all electrically powered appliances. I've educated you, yet again. Anyway i'm here to ask if i need to include my birth cert to my studen visa application? or maybe the personal vaf9 one??

my own money is in my account, so basically my parents are out of the equation, so honestly i dont see why i need it but my mother wont let me rest.

Truth is i actually cant find the original cert, i can only find a COPY of the registration of birth, and cant be bothered to hustle for another one.
