ishmael: This NUC sef with their wahala. What concerns them with PG programmes again? Any institution that has been approved to function as a university is believed to have Msc holders, PhD holders and profs in their various faculties to run both undergraduate and atleast Masters programmes. PhD programmes is what they should regulate because they need a team of experienced associate profs and profs to run such. Are they in any way implying that some universities are not supposed to be universities? if you know what is happening in most of this university my brother u won't e able to close your mouth. So many stupid thing are happening in Nigeria university especially at post graduate level, most of this old lectures have master only which am always against that a master degree holder should teach any post graduate course. If you now go to all this private institutions, what you see in some departments are 1 phd holder, 6 msc holders and 1 prof who is not even a permanent staff abeg make dem regulate the tin jor. |
