The singer has decided to sack his manager, Kamal Ajiboye, who brokered the deal between OBO and Sony Music.

He took to Snapchat to express his mind. He wrote, “Bleep all that international shit! It’s cool but Bleep it. I am back to the basics” adding “I am my own manager in 2017! Don’t put your life in another man’s hand,”

Davido is yet to feel the ‘positive effect’ of the deal he signed with Sony. We guess he might pull himself out of the deal soon.

SAD! Legendary soul singer Sharon Jones is dead.

Sharon Jones died at the age of 60 on Friday, November 18 after a prolonged battle with pancreatic cancer and now friends and collaborators of the late powerhouse are beginning to shed light on her final days.

According to Gabriel Roth of the Dap-Kings, the election of Donald Trump as America’s next president was the leading cause of Jones’s initial stroke, which ultimately lead to her death.

“Well, she’d been fighting cancer for a few years now, and there’s been all kinds of stuff coming at her,” Roth told the Los Angeles Times in a new interview.

“But the thing that actually got her in the last couple of weeks was, she had a stroke watching the election results. After that first stroke she couldn’t move her leg, but she could still talk.”



Roth quickly traveled to the hospital that was treating her in Cooperstown, New York, with the rest of the Dap-Kings soon following suit.

She died a week later, surrounded by her family, friends, and bandmates at her bedside. Sharon Lafaye Jones was an American soul and funk singer.

She was the lead singer of Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, a soul and funk band based in Brooklyn, New York.

Former Capital FM presenter Grace Makosewe was found dead in her Ngumo apartment in Nairobi on Wednesday morning, October 26th. A secondary school teacher, Mr. Enilolobo Olamilekan at Agbokunloko College, Ikotun, Lagos State, yesterday denied defi-ling a 12-year-old student, insisting that he only put his p*nis in her mouth.

Olamilekan, who hails from Lagos, admitted to have lured the girl to his parent’s apartment, where he took advantage of the 12-year-old Junior Secondary School 2 student.

In his confession, Olamilekan said:

“When I was done with my classes, I joined them there and taught them for the day. My house is not far from the school.

“My mum called me to come home and do the dishes. I told the girl to go with me, that I would buy the notebook for her at a woman’s shop near my house. She went with me; I bought the book for her and she said she was hungry. I bought biscuit for her and as I was about to go, the woman said I should bring her bottle which had been with me. I told her I would bring it later, but she refused.

“She said the victim should go with me to the house, so that I would give her the bottle. That was how the girl went with me to the house. I took her inside our parlour. I put her on the chair and put my manhood in her mouth. I did not touch her private part. They have done a test and confirmed I did not touch her there. She did not cry and she did not complain. But she went home and reported to her parents.

“I only put my male organ inside the mouth of the girl. I did not r*pe her. I just do not know what got into me. However, I’m ready to face the consequences of my action. I know I have committed a crime and I’m guilty. Whatever is my punishment; I’ll face it and hope God would have mercy on me. I have never done something like this before. A Saudi groom has divorced his wife just two hours after their wedding because the bride broke an agreement not to share their wedding photos on Snapchat.

The groom, upon learning that images of the wedding had been sent to female friends of his new wife, immediately filed for divorce. The agreement not to share pictures or video of the ceremony was apparently a binding one, Saudi press reported.

The bride’s brother told Saudi daily Okaz:

‘There was a prenuptial agreement between my sister and her fiancé that she would not use social-media applications such as Snapchat, Instagram or Twitter to post or send her pictures.
It was included in the marriage contract and became binding. Regretfully, my sister did not honour the pledge and used Snapchat to share pictures from the wedding ceremony with her female friends, resulting in the shocking decision by the groom to cancel their marriage and call for divorce.’

The episode caused a huge row between both families, with the bride’s relatives arguing that the agreement was unfair, and the groom’s relatives arguing that he had been perfectly within his rights to file for divorce.

Popular Nigerian music star, Yemi Alade made history at the 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) 2016 staged in the South African city of Johannesburg by becoming the first African female act to win the coveted Best Female Act category back-to-back (2015 & 2016).

But the ‘Johhny crooner’ who emerged winner in the Best Female Act category which included other stellar acts like sensational singer Tiwa Savage, and other African talents like Josey (Ivory Coast), Mz Vee (Ghana) and Vanessa Mdee (Tanzania) didn’t spare her President (Buhari) when she took a swipe at his ‘the other room’ comments which sparked controversy back home.

Lydia who is a year older today, wrote a warm birthday message to herself where she stated that she is not ashamed to say she is 32 years old and will not be made to think that she is running out of time. She wrote;

I lost a friend this morning to cancer and it just dawned on me that she didn’t get to have this opportunity. So I’m going to scream my age out loud and wear it with a badge if I have to. Why? Because 32 years is how many mornings I’ve woken up and nights I’ve gone to bed. 32 is how many years I’ve inhaled and exhaled without skipping a beat, it’s the number years I’ve made it past Christmas,New Years and other holidays, and more than anything it’s the number of years I’ve been able to say I’m alive,when others couldn’t. And for this I’m so grateful to God for my life and how far I’ve come. I look back at the person I was on this day last year and not only do I not recognize her anymore, but I’m grateful she’s gone. Following the interview granted to the BBC by the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari where she alleged that her husband’s government has been hijacked by some cabals, adding that she might campaign for him again, veteran showbiz mogul, Charlyboy, popularly known as AreaFada, has reacted.
In an open letter posted on his website (www.charlyboy.me) the AreaFada has said Aisha simply cried out for help for fear of the unknown and the same treacherous, vile and evil cabal that hijacked former President, Goodluck Jonathan’s government.

Guys, you must have read or heard by now our President’s answer when he was asked in the presence of other world leaders, in far away Germany, which party his wife, Aisha belongs to. He gave a classic “Aboki” answer, “I don’t know what political party she belongs to but all I know is that she belongs to my kitchen, my room and other rooms” whaaaat??!!!

My people, how many of una hear or read Aisha Buharis BBC interview. In that interview I could see a woman who has considered all her options and all consequences and is simply crying out for help because domestically things are perhaps not peaceful or that her husband’s power and authority has been hijacked by the treacherous cabals who insist on making some of our Presidents (past and present) a mere figure head. The same cabal hijacked Goodluck Jonathan administration, an easy going man who was never wired for treachery and evil, in fact that one personally confessed to me himself that he is under siege by the Cabal.
People, there is fire on the mountain o!!!!!!
As far as I’m concerned if Buhari is not in charge, then who the heck is in charge of this derailing ship called Nigeria.
I know that it is very lonely at the top. If you’re a family man, you know how easy or difficult it is in running your family how much more a country/nation as big as Nigeria.
Our leaders know they are ultimately responsible for the lives and fortunes of the people and If they fail, many of us will get poorer, suffer and die for nothing. They often deny the burdens and loneliness of leadership, thereby becoming incapable of facing reality, they tune down their inner voice, because it is too painful to confront or even acknowledge it; it may, however, appear in their dreams as they try to resolve conflicts rustling around inside their heads, cabinet or homes, therefore, their work and function derails and personal lives get out of balance.
They lose touch with those closest to them̬ like their spouses, children, and best friends who can no longer synchronise their points of view and they eventually lose their capacity to think logically about important issues. Long and short, the country and its people suffer, especially the poor masses. My people, look at Us now. Hummmmm!!!
I dont believe that our First Lady, Aisha is crazy, unhinged or trying to sabotage her husband’s efforts, rather I see her as a woman who is frustrated in trying to communicate with her husband, a woman who probably havent had any lately in decades, a woman who is sick and tired of all the male macho bullshit and above all very afraid of these treacherous, vile and evil Cabal whose plans are not in the country’s best interest. She may have her game going. Who knows.
For the First Lady to say all that she said understanding the consequences living with the kinda man who wouldn’t really mind confining her to the kitchen, is very noble and courageous. My people can this explain the confusion in Aso Rock today or the inaction/insensitivities of Buhari’s government towards us, the people? The bad spirits have taken over, Holy Ghost Fire!!!!!!!!
I didn’t vote in the last election because the choice of candidates was wrong, it was like being between the devil and the deep blue sea. And I have always said that what Nigeria/Nigerians need now, is a benevolent dictator who can arrest these cabals and for once have a leadership that thinks about Us, the People.
The divisive tactics of the Cabal is legendary. They are egotistical sleazy riffraffs who can never comprehend the concept of leadership, service to the people. They are blinded by their greed and the evil that dwells in their hearts.
From where I stand, I feel the Cabal have succeeded in overpowering our President, hence, Aisha’s cry for help. And it doesn’t make it any easier when the person in question has a mungo park mentality. Kai wahala dey.
My people what do we do? how can we help to get our oga to see our predicament and take immediate action to rescue our future?. Nigerians are no longer happy, they are hungry and angry. God ain’t going to send down manna from heaven so forget about night vigil and your pastors, it is our call to face this monster or we will all die one after another before our time.

A young Nigerian student has made a remarkable feat after constructing a solar powered car in Ebonyi State.

A talented 16-year-old boy has made history after constructing a car and drove it to Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State. The boy identified as Master Ihere-serg Mascot also drove the car before the shocked eyes of many.
Master Ihere made it known to press men that his car does not emit gas neither does it use fuel but its powered by solar energy. The young Ihere was allowed to drive the car around and it's movement can be seen in the video attached to this news.

A man was murdered by thugs during a deadly communal fight in Odufa Street, Lagos Island.


According to Isiaq Taofiq, who shared the video, the man was beaten mercilessly during the clash which occurred on Sunday, October 16th.

Residents said that the fight broke out when a masquerade said to be named Adakeja in the area was prevented from parading the street by some youths in the area. This led to an argument between supporters of the masquerade and the youths. A fight broke out which turned bloody.
