Just got a text msg From Diamond Bank for a test Monday 2/04/07 |
Hello Guys, I have a clone computer that has a power problem, But when i changed the power, the rating on the power was 300W but i bought was 400W rating, now the system is not powering up. Could the power rating cause the system from not coming on. i Notice that when i press the power botton the power pack fan will want to roll but stops. This power was tested for me at the computer village before buying it on the P4 system |

Thank OYB and mukadas I have formatted the laptop since all the solution are not working perfectly |
@ oyb thanks so muc i will try to do that now but if it fails to work am going to format my laptop. Too bad. But you yet to tell mii how to remove the new folder on my flash drive |
I discover that most monitor technicians at the village are not very competent in monitor repairs. Besides it takes time to fix a monitor, even if you are to get it fixed the price of repairing it is jaw breaking and you are not even guarantee that its going to last for months before it goes bad again, the output might even not really be as good as it was before you repair it. LCD monitor are even the worse I have some that have be laying in my office now. Guys I need your opinion on this. A used monitor cost about N5,500, so why can’t you save your self the stress and time wasting. If its just a power problem i.e the fuse breaks its still better. |
My problem goes thus; i discover that my Task Manager will not open. Any time I try opening it gives me this message that Task Manager has been disable by the administrator, but I am the administrator. When I Google the problem on the internet, the solution was that it’s either my Task Manager has been disable by the administrator or it’s a spy ware attack. The solution was to go to RUN and type gpedit.msc then open the and template to enable the task manager. The main problem now is that the RUN on the start menu is not present. So I decided To use the dos command prompt to open the gpedit.msc. The task manager was not disable in the group policy so I later scan my laptop to detect any spy ware present. The spy ware was found and deleted, my task manager is now working perfectly now. I am now face with the RUN command that is not present on my start menu NB I have been using this task manager before almost on daily basis before I discovered I can’t open my Task Manager. (I borrowed a friend my flash driver which I suspect was the one that infected my lappy. Up till now there is a file on my flash that is named new folder but it will freeze the system if you try opening it and when I try deleting the folder it will delete and later if you try viewing the flash the folder will returned back. HOW CAN I GET MY RUN COMMAND BACK HOW CAN I DELETE THE FOLDER ON MY FLASH DRIVE BECAUSE I HAVE FORMATTED THE FLASH AND THE FOLDER RETURNS |
Oceanic Bank’s public offer begins on Monday In realisation of its vision of becoming the most dominant financial institution in Nigeria, the board and management of Oceanic Bank International Plc. has finalized arrangements to offer a total of 3.4 billion ordinary shares of 50 kobo each to investors at N16.50 kobo per share. The offer, which is being offered at a discount rate of N3.03 kobo per share, is expected to fetch the bank a total of N55.4 billion, pushing the bank’s shareholders fund to the threshold of N100 billion. The public offer, according to the bank, is being undertaken to give investors opportunity of being part of the bank, increase its capital base and also increase its branch network locally and offshore. The funds accruable from the offer would enable the bank invest heavily on information technology and also be used as a working capital. UBA Global Markets and FBN Capital are the lead issuing houses to the offer. While assuring investors of a bumper returns on their investment in the bank, the bank’s Chief Executive, Dr. (Mrs.) Cecilia Ibru, projected a profit of N18.9 billion for the bank in 2007, N24.9 billion in 2008 and N28.6 billion in 2009. The bank also projected a dividend of 56 kobo in 2007, 58 kobo in 2008 and 67 kobo in 2009. Capital market analysts are of the view that since the bank went to the capital market in 2004 to raise funds, the bank’s story and that of its investors have changed for good. Aside an enhanced financial performance that made it close 2006 as the fourth most profitable financial institution and the fifth largest bank in Nigeria, the bank’s high rate of returns on investment has been tremendous. http://www.tribune.com.ng/27022007/news/news14.html |

It all happen this faithful day about a year ago, when I went to my tailor’s shop to pick up my clothes. It was barely 15 minutes waiting for the tailor to finish up my work that this lady/babe worked into the shop. She started telling me that do u think you can escape, to cut the whole story short she was accusing me of TOUCHING HER BREAST in the bus some minutes ago, and fortunately I have not entered any bus that day. To make the matter worse she ask the okada rider that drop her that is this not the guy that they where chasing, to my amazement the Bike man was saying that I look like the person. Sensing this trouble I was getting mad and about to beat the hell out of the babe but the Taylor was telling to take things easy that the babe might be up to something, so I should not fall into the trap. This babe was shouting on top of her voice that she is going to get me arrested. Men this whole show was just like a movie, I can’t believe this whole shit was happening to my right in my hood. Before I realized what was going one people have started gathering come see crowd. You know Lagosians they sabi look well well. Some people really think I did it but there is no way I can prove my innocence. I have to stay away from that street for close to 4 months. This babe breast self be like fried egg no be boiled one o |
My guy u should have just said thank you very much for taking your time out to grant me this interview. I strongly believed that they going to respond by offering you an hand shake. This is Nigeria, every little thing counts. Cheers |

POLICE DEY READ BIBLE ? On Lagos-Ibadan express road when a Pastor met a team of policemen who, quite naturally, wanted 'something' from him. Since he was not prepared to play their games, they asked for his papers and having combed through everything without any offence with which to nail the 'stubborn' pastor, they now asked him to open the bonnet of his car. A careful scrutiny of the engine number against what was on paper revealed that letter U was written in such a way that it could be mistaken for letter V. That was all the officer-in-charge needed to shout "stolen vehicle! Sensing trouble, even when he knew he committed no offence, the pastor called the OC to say he was a priest to which the officer replied : "Please, leave that pastor thing, in any case, if you are indeed a pastor, then you must have a Bible in your car, bring it." The Pastor did as was commanded after which the officer now ordered: "Please read Matthew 5:25, 26 to me". The incredulous Pastor opened to the recommended passage and read: "Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still with him on the way, or he may hand you over to a judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. I tell you the truth; you will not get out until you have paid the last penny." The man of God quietly made an "offering" of "just" one N100 to his newly found "preacher". End of service! Go in peace and argue no more. said the OC. Can you beat that !!!!! |

Thanx guys, I will change the location of the system to see if its the network cable or the NIC is bad, but i don't think the cable is unplug because it can still access the network resources. The only problem is dat it stops accessing the internet until it is rebooted without touching the network cable.I will check its port on the router as well. |
Thanx Seun, I have not tried disconecting the lan cable any time it does that, but there is no error msg. I only get to know its no loger accessing the internet if the web page is displaying THIS PAGE CAN NOT BE FOUND. Are u trying to say the network cable might be the problem? |
I have 20 computers on the network, they are all on win XP and are configured to use Dynamic IP not static. All the computers are all on the internet and they share resouces. There is this particular system that keeps stopping from accesing the internet until it is rebooted (the interval from break in accessing internet varies so i don't think its a virus problem). But the period that it stops accessing the internet its will be able to access the shared resoures. Its not that there is a complete break in the network on the system its just that its internet access will not work until it is restarted again. Could the problem be the NIC or what becuase its using an onboard NIC.Please i need help badly |
If Yar’ adua becomes the PDP cand. Then be excepting Andy Uba or what is he called to be is vice. Though he has won the PDP ticket for his state but Baba Iyabo can withdraw him to run as vice just like Atiku did. Just let us wait and see |

nilla:nilla Let me ask you a question. Since Saddam was captured has the killing in Iraq Stopped! Lets call a spade a spade Bush has turn himself into a weapon of mass destruction {WMD}he is a machine not human I know say na water or Zobo drink dey run for him veins just like Saddam himself. The Koreans have also started their weapon as well. Bush dare not go near them or else they are going to wipeout the whole of US out including their unborn generations. Please don't get me wrong am not saying Saddam is a nice guy, though he has done so many bad things. Who is going to be held responsible for the souls of the women and children that died while Bush was trying to capture Saddam? Bush approach to the issue was just too hard. I think he his trying the do the Job meant for the UN. He his just trying to pretend to the whole world that he is a nice guy (who is he fooling). I know from the 1st day Saddam was captured that he is going to die. Saddam needs to defend his country from Bush wolfs. I really love his courage in that aspect. My pity is just the citizen of the United States, cos i don't think u guys are really secured there. Bush himself is a terrorist. Why can’t he spend just half of the money that he his spending on war @ Iraq to under developed country. He destroys houses in Iraq and started giving them blankets to cover their heads (what an insult, the way they collected gold from Africans and started distributing mirror and bible). I know one day he would be paid back with his own coin. Once again Saddam is a bado, but two wrongs can never make a right PEACE ![]() |
The fact is that the death of Saddam will lead to the rise of one thousand Saddam. Besides since he was captured, has the killing in Iraq stopped? Bush himself is the Weapon of Mass Destruction. He is really interested in the Oil not the WMD he knows that the only thing that can stop him was to get rid of Saddam (am not saying Saddam is a saint). But there are some many leaders out there that are worse than Saddam e.g Gorge Bush. The US claims that they have large quantities of oil in their reserve but there is nothing to show, we only see it on paper. I really pity the Britain because Tony na MUMU all he knows is to follow Bush blindly. All naija wey dey US come home o because Osama & Co are warming up for return leg. (Sound Sultan has said it all ….Ti Ode ba le e pada wele o i.e if its getting hard out there plz come back home) LONG LIVE SADDAM LONG LIVE IRAQ ![]() |
Mutiu keep up the good work the sky gonna be ur starting point Cheers |
