Guys, Afribank is sure paying well now. i work in Intercontinental and lots of people i know here and in other banks are tinkin of jumping ship. A Finbank branch ere in Lagos lost their Relationship manager and 4 marketers to them just last month. d marketeres were entry level and were offered the next level in afri. pay was btw 4.5-4.8million for the 2nd level. its hard to see how they make so much profit but im sure they dont have half of our staff strength so the money can go round. plus they have a new, young and dynamic MD dat wants to reshape the bank. could be a cool place. for me, i worked in 1st bank and i think a new generation bank suits me beta. challenging, but wat should a young man be lukin for other dan challenges cos dats overcoming them is the only tin dat can set u apart in this world of ours. cheers pple

Wats poppin? Ecobank is still on. They usually start training after a new batch of corpers pass out. They offer all corpers dat served with them jobs and they form the bulk of the training class. So anybody dats waiting will be answered pretty soon. They will call us up dis february to start trainin with the ex-corpers. I mite still cum ova. Im in 1st bank now and i also got intercontinental offer. still deliberating on wat 2 do. but its confirmed now dat ecobank pays 181k even as at trainin. lets just be very prayerful. we shall get there. ciao guys

Guess im not in a position to advice you. But i know for sure that ecobank allows for dialogue during their interviews. im supposed to resume first bank training in january but i went for the ecobank interview. They immediately jumped at me asking how much first bank wants to pay me and all that. I believe they only call you for interview if they are ready to employ you without any further disqualifications. Have a friend there that got in from virgin nigeria but he insisted on 2nd level pay and they did not waste time to give him what he wanted. just give it a shot. i hope you did cos it seems my reply is late. Insider sources there says take home will be 168k from january and they dont waste time paying peanuts b4 confirmation. the choice is yours but i think your experience is the bargaining chip. i was interviewed with about ten guys and only 2 of us were not working yet.

Just got off the bank site. Took d test in Ibadan and im suprised ill be trained in Lagos. Anyway, guess everybodyelse should look their invitations up and there is no rush too cos it starts in January. Please could anybody help out with Ecobank interview tips? Just did an interview with them for Intercontinental call centre last week. We subsequently wnet to Intercontinental hq for another interview. i know the office is at the back of Zenith Headquarters but i cant remember the street Its a close anyway but i think they recruit online only. Guess this would help

Please be cool. I heard form a reliable source that the batches will be regional. . i think most of the guys called are resuming training in Enugu and that suggests that its for eastern region. i did my interview in Ibadan and so far nobody has been called that i know. Just relax and have faith. We will get there.

Heard first bank starts with 80k and then there is a lump sum payment of 500k after 1 year and then the salary will be increased to 110k subsequently. That is quite low compared to a lot of banks around now. They have always complained that they end up training guys for other banks cos a high percentage leaves later so i guess they will review the salary very very soon or maybe they have done that. cheers

Im really in a predicament o. I took an Ecobank test in matori in feb and i was contacted that i passed in May. I was called for interview in August but i got the text very late which was after the interview date. The interview turned out to be a formalty cos my friend that took it is now in training with everybodyelse that took the interview. I have been calling them on the number used to text me but nobody is telling me anything definite about my case . please is there anybody in the house that works in the headquarters or someone that could please help me out? plsssss

Guess the Hr Indexx guys really recruit for Intercontinental bank but they actually advertised for a call centre agent job. I think its to reduce the crowd. So next time you hear HR Indexx recruiting, jump on board. Still expecting them to contact us for interview anyway. Think i will start a topic on this when ive got time. cheers

Guys, i also got a text from Ecobank today.I did my test at matori in Oshodi sometime in February. They only told me i passed the recruitment test and that i will be contacted later for 'interviews'. nothing more
