Muyiwa951: No. Why would you want to go for a part time? the school has undergone a recent policy that requires me to have 9 University course work already completed, so they suggested I should take the part time offer and later transfer to full time. but I don't know if my visa would be approved with such offer |

ProYouWebsiteUK: Since you were issued I-20 for Spring Semester before and it was not stated there, I will suggest you contact your course coordinator or admission advisor to explain to him/her that you don't understand the content of the message because you had been issued I-20 before and you want to know the reason for the sudden change of your application. You can scan and send the I-20 and Admission letter they sent to you for the Spring Semester as evidence of your request.
I think you will get a clear and better explanation for the change of application by doing so. thank you so much boss ..I will do that ASAP |

LagosismyHome: Most schools don't ask you to do this ... it what you applied for and maybe you didnt read the requirements well. What school and program is this?
Target other schools immediately.... I was given an i20 for spring. but due to availability of date, I had to defer it to fall semester. nd they didn't mention anything like conditional admission that time. I don even submit i20 request which is still pending approval before I got this mail |

Gcodded: I got this mail from my school and I don't know what it means. hope it wont be a problem during my visa interview. UNDERGRADUATE
We are contacting you today to confirm your interest in the fall and inform you of the following conditions of your acceptance.
As you may be aware, we offers Bachelor’s Completion programs designed for learners who have an associate’s degree or some college credit already completed. This means you must have some college coursework completed prior to your full-time enrollment . You are conditionally accepted with the expectation that you will successfully complete 6-9 credits of college coursework at an institution of your choice, including enrollment in online courses we offer during the Summer 2019 Semester.
If you are interested in pursuing your acceptance , we can enroll you in online courses for the summer semester in preparation for your Fall 2019 attendance full-time on campus.
Summer classes begin on May 6. The registration deadline is May 12 for summer A half-semester courses and May 19 for summer full-semester courses.
If you choose not to enroll in the online courses during the summer semester, you will need to provide proof of college-level courses in progress from a regionally-accredited institution to confirm you have met the conditions of your acceptance and are eligible to enroll in the Fall 2019 semester. We must receive this proof by May 6, 2019.
If you are an international student who requires support for F-1 visa status to study in the United States, please remember that you must submit your initial I-20 request with all the required documents by July 15 (in order to enroll in programs in Fall 2019 after your required college coursework completion this summer).

LagosismyHome: Did you apply as a transfer student .... the school is expecting that you would have started university somewhere else, have taken some classes and you must have done this before you start with them in august
Plus fall starts in August so like in May you are expected to take some online classes with them. So this has to be done before August. .... no mention of fee?. How much are these online classes you need to ask
That all this is saying... what exactly did you apply for ? undergraduate degree ma.. I finished secondary School Last year |

Time2win: No wonder. I have a friend who encountered same issue. He applied for bsc computer information system and but got business/commerce written on his i20. Since you applied for computer science, explain to the V.O the course you applied for which is computer science and say its under liberal arts and science college. Go with your admission letter too. University of Wisconsin-Madison is a very good school, you will get your visa. thanks man |

Time2win: Yeah it can be under liberal arts and science but having liberal arts as a course you are studying will make the interviewer wonder how computer science and liberal arts links. I am still finding it hard to know the relation maybe its a business course should I forget about computer science and prepare for liberal art and science. what is your opinion? |

LagosismyHome: you raise a good point but i think Computer can be under Liberal arts and science . It depends on how the school college is broken down. I20 Classification doesn’t have to be exact , a school can choose the umbrella it falls under ….. But at the same time , even if it not exact in all cases, they cannot choose something random or two things that are not related
I think Gcodded , you need to go back and check that this is not a mistake .. Contact the school , If the school confirms that how they classify it then its ok . What school is this ? , I can check their website |
