Amongst my friends, I don't think I have up to 5 people I can confidently call for assistance financially. Amongst my family, I have just my mum and my sisters to run to for financial assistance. There are other members of family who are even more financially buoyant but I can't ask them. My point is,not everyone can confidently open their mouth to ask people for assistance. Don't just conclude that she has friends and family to run to.

The bridge was built by Sullivan Chime and a top grade project overall, if you know Akwata like me that grew up in the area and uses this road to enter the market almost daily, you will understand the miracle Sullivan performed here. This was one of the best works done in Enugu in those days. But just like in everything, Nigerian contracts are not supervised properly by the people that awarded them. Somehow the rails were omitted, making the bridge a death trap. That was wrong.

But for this present Enugu state government to just stand up and start making noise about correcting the mistake is plain noise making. Just go ahead and fix good rails on the existing bridge and get on with your works. This should not be a media campaign on another man legacy project. This rails should not take a week to fit, why the campaign.
