From Day 1, I had been quick to call this Brocksamson and his fellow confederates out on their bullshit, I also minced no words in using the perfect adjective to describe him - because that truly is what he is...a stupid fellow.
Prior to this wait for the second list, the MOST reliable informant here has been Marvel65. Also, prior to calls being dispatched for the first set of intakes, a lot of people here can attest to the fact that most of the information passed on here by the same Marvel65 were corroborated by actual events in reality - and because of the correlations, most of us saw him as the sole arbiter for information (reliable) dissemination on this thread.
Nobody says believe everything you read or hear. However, what didn't sit well with me was the condescending manner in which they (Brocksamson, Notindome etc) questioned the info dropped here. Even the Bible you're inclined to quote says: "Its better to keep quiet and seem wise, than to talk and appear foolish" These guys took it upon themselves to disparage the efforts of Marvel65, slurred his image as an insincere person despite all genuine sacrifices made for the benefit of us all in this group. Since you insolently question his info why then should the bearer of this info remain to continue to be disrespected by you lots? This is a perfect epitome of "A beggar with a choice" because you don't have any reliable source of info of your own and have hitherto fed off of what Marvel has dropped here, and yet you arrogate to yourselves which info is true and which is false hence the beggar that chooses what info to take? Smh
Now the man has gone, you can all look at yourselves and wait for manner from heaven in the form of further information to discredit. Some people here may not have bought the info meted out 100 percent, but they were wise enough to know that its not right to publicly bite the hand that feeds you whether the food has sugar in it or not....at all at all na em bad pass - but you guys are too dumb to know this.
Lastly, if your proposed publication ever gets to see the light of day, I will put forward N500,000 of my personal money and go to the ends of this country Nigeria to disavow whatever lie you guys put in there. |

BrockSamson: Thank you Marvel.
Honestly speaking you did a wonderful job here, regardless of motive. I am impressed, you deserve a promotion. Your sarcasm makes you look stupid! |

BrockSamson: Those that are discerning would find some of Marvel65’s posts troubling. Sometimes I wonder what some folks rejoice about when he posts, maybe its just that I don’t indulge in false hope.
Till date we haven’t seen the merit Marvel talked about, 400 slots disappeared and I would state it as a fact; the number of merit in it was negligible. Some of us did our investigation regarding these slots, so we know what we are saying.
Most times Marvel65’s posts seem to me as an orchestrated/deliberate attempt at misinformation of those with no information though I really want to believe he is just saying what he knows. In this regard, I thank you for sharing what you know even if most of your shared info regarding merit has turned out to be incorrect.
Lets us sit back and smile while we watch DPR play their final hand See, unless you have a more 'reliable informant' who probably works in the senior cadre of the DPR and has given you information in the past that accurately correlated with past events, then I suggest you implore him/her to supplant the work Marvel65 is doing here for us. If not, then IT IS NOT in your place to come here and denigrate on the effort and information (fluid or not) the said Marvel65 has given here thus far. |

peepydelano: nothing like fresh recruitment for now, second batch shouldn't exceed next week.confirm very well from your source. This your conviction...are you sure or you're stating this hypothetically? |

Marvel65: Unless NUPENG & PENGASSAN decide to join NLC & TUC, no activity in the DPR will be disrupted. Dear Marvel, Can you kindly address this rumours about 'fresh recruitment' which may/will likely foil the release of second batch APLs. Thank you. |

BrockSamson: If you didn’t read all my other posts atleast there was one just directly above yours. You have no idea how this post of yours portrays you now.
No offense but you are even far less discerning than we thought Read your other posts? I obviously don't have time for such irrelevance. The agenda your'e spearheading makes you asinine to say the least. Feel free to take offence. |

BrockSamson: If you are a well discerning person, you would see the inconsistencies in Marvel65 posts and you would know that expectation and reality have two different definitions.
Anyways there is no need to turn it to another debate let everyone be on stand-by to do whatever they have proposed in their heart to do, while we hope for the best. The earlier DPR gets it over with, the better. I'm not the one trying to find credence and/or disparage the information being disseminated by someone who this thread has considered/adjudged the most credible source of information hitherto. Its funny that you and your cohorts never found the need to doubt Marvel's info but conveniently do it at this time...how fickle. Secondly, i'm not the one who's championing a futile agenda (despite not carrying out proper research as to what you hope to achieve) which you're trying to make look ostensibly for the good of the merit folk but in actual sense for grievances of not getting in. This makes me a more discernible person than yourself. |

Marvel65: Xtruzz is well informed.
DPR initially wanted the first and Second batch to resume Q2 and Q4 of this year respectively.
200 slots were given to Stakeholders. Most of them have reported. The rest that failed to report before October, 1st will join the second batch.
Merit applicants filled the 400 slots. Few of them joined the first batch. Those that failed to report before October, 1st were replaced.
Some have confirmed their names. Please make effort to know your status. If you have no one, be patient. You will hear from them soon. Continue praying and put your trust in God.
Those ready to pull the trigger, good luck with that. I feel your pain but If you decide to execute your plan, it will be a win-lose situation i.e those that got in through their sponsors will loose their jobs; Director will be sacked and the recruitment will be suspended indefinitely.
Everyone will be ok. If Brockswhatever and notindome et al are well discerning people, they would see that from the aforementioned it is a LOSE-LOSE situation for all and sundry. No one mandated you to write on behalf of the house. Secondly, you guys (publishing advocates) are not the only ones who are 'tired' of the wait/what the recruitment to be over - however, dont use your disgruntled situations to affect the outcome of people who are already there working and people who are hoping to be there to work. A word should be enough. |

Everyone will be ok. Thank you Marvel65 for your reply. Although it's difficult to fix a date to expect calls, and just for the sake of those of us still patiently waiting, when do you reckon this call will come? |
