Sotrue: THIS IS WICKEDNESS !!! Why deceiving people that this recruitment is still on when you clearly know it is over. This must be a joke taken too far. This recruitment is over, please move on. This recruitment is done and dusted. I have tried hard to ignore this thread but I feel for people still having faith that the recruitment would be a reality. Please I can tell you 100% it’s over. Take it from me, I am an insider even though I didn’t get the job finally. No don’t tell them bro. Allow them continue to waste their time and their ‘hope’. I’ve been telling them since they won’t listen. I laugh in Gucci. Anyone who waited on this recruitment after listening to Marvel and Xtris and after glaringly seeing the writing on the wall is a fool. Bye bye. |

Jan9: Which one is more senseless
Having hope that calls will be made while still doing doing something worthwhile
Or coming to laugh hopefuls who probably @ present are doing much better than you
for anyone with something worthwhile would not stoop this low except for someone already at that low level On the contrary, the bolded is more senseless. If you’re actually doing better than me, you won’t be lingering to a recruitment of which commenced three years ago and was rounded up last year. |

Ebonybiuty: Whoever it is knows that whatever he/she says here will be taken hook, line and sinker, quite unfortunate.
We should stop giving these people audience and just allow DPR to surprise us honestly; they will definitely call whether we like it or not but NO ONE knows when. DPR is not surprising you or anyone here. Move on. Recruitment is over. |

Xtruzz: It will come towards end of the year. The truth is, not even Mr. President knows the date of the release of APLs. This was part of their management meeting to keep it discrete before Ladan retired.
DPR only collected CVs and left with the word " we will get back to you in due time" This is not Xtruz. What happened to your blunders and grammatical errors that are characteristic of you? Naaaaaaa, this is not Xtruz. This is further proof that they are messing with you gullible people but continue the suffering as you people truly truly deserve it |

'Others' advised against her going straight for PMP. I am the one asking her to go straight for it. Who no go no know nomad26: I agree with what others have said, seriously consider going straight for the PMP. You don't have to have a PM title to meet the project management experience. To fulfill this, you need to have performed PM tasks that fall under the process groups (IN, PL, EX, MC & CL) From the bolded part below (how many years of experience do you have doing this?), I'd think you may have the required hours. You can download an application guide online to help you break down your hours or PM me for the one I used |

Adunnee: Please tell me more. How do I achieve that? I don't have the required PM experience. Though I've led teams within the last few years, to achieve job tasks. Can this qualify as PM experience? My dear, I have registered and I am scheduled to write the exam later this year. I am not a Project Engineer. There are ways around all these things. Read well and work with exam simulations and you will pass. You just need to know the hours to put for the knowledge areas, then pay your exam fee. I am in the same shoes as you. However, I have done my PM training which gives certain hours to key in the PMI website. My trainer also provided ways to fill in all the requisite info, hence scheduling my exam. I know folks that wrote and passed without being project managers for one day. Ask yourself what you want. For me, Ii want the PMP certification FIRSTLY. All other questions about actual experience can follow suit. My two kobos sha. Goodluck |

You know you can devote time and read/prepare for PMP straight up yeah? I think it's better instead of doing CAPM then doing PMP afterwards. I think with dedication, you can pass your PMP without necessarily having experience in projects. Adunnee: Hi. Thanks for reposting. I did some research and I got some answers though.
CAPM exam will be right for me since I don't have PM experience. CAPM is the entry level certification, more like a junior brother/sister of PMP.
There are jobs and the skills are in demand. I'm currently checking the prevalent provinces.
I can take the training in Nigeria (online/classroom) to cover for 23hours formal training in PM since I don't have 1500 hours of experience as a PM which is a critical requirement for CAPM exam.
I can use it as a standalone profession or merge it with my current profession depending on the job requirement or the role I'm applying for.
Both CAPM and PMP certifications are globally recognised. |

Please, can someone shed light on this? Please and Please. Very Important Adunnee: Hello everyone. I'm awaiting PPR and I wish to live in Calgary once I get to Canada. I'm currently an HR professional specialised in Recruitment. I want to take up Project Management as a 2nd profession. I have a few questions:
1. How viable/lucrative is PM in Alberta? (Ease of entry, pay, jobs) 2. Are there certifications/professional bodies I can register with while in Nigeria that will be relevant in Canada? 3. Any general/other advice for me or what are the things I should take note of? |

dprsauce: So adamant. It's obvious your world is tied to this recruitment so much that you don't mind swallowing any info thrown at your feet just to give you hope, even if it's false.
Its so sad that our leaders has brought us to this level, more sad that the masses supports them due to religious or tribal sentiments.
The north has brought this country to its knees, to the extent that priority has shifted from the welfare of its citizens to the welfare of cows. Laughable is the fact that we play politics with it cos in no distant time, federal government will start struggling to pay federal staffs just as state is doing today.
Our major source of income is from crude oil, fuel in particular. What our blind leaders and masses is yet to come in terms with is that in less than 5 years time, electric cars will 90% replace petrol cars on the streets. How prepared are we? Especially those killing themselves to work in DPR or other associations? You better plan yourself today, cos I don't see a good future for this country, in a fact, the future is here and tougher tomorrow.
Plan for a sustainable income that can replace your current salary if you have a job, or those hustling for oil related jobs. Get a skill, that is the most sustainable and stop getting depressed over this govt, cos if you drink sniper juice today, you'll just trend for less than 24 hours, after which na burial. Nobody cares.
This recruitment is done for the unconnected, get that into your thick skull No be lie you talk my man. Lmao |
