You're using 8.5 x 11, this is your interior size. Use the 17" provide for the cover size. It will work.

Boss...the thing is still not working, I'm frustrated rn, I don't even know what's wrong, this is the 20th cover I'll create since yesterday yet I haven't launch one book...

I downloaded the template from kdp like this: 8by11 inches

Then when I wanted to design the cover I use 17.5 by 11.250 as recommend by kdp to create the canva, so imported the template and enlarged to the canva size then I make my design but still yet it's still rejecting it...I'm quite fed up rn, help please

I'm using canva.com for design

Go to kdp dashboard.
On step 2 of upload cover and manuscript

You will see a blue word written
Download kdp template cover

Click it.

When it opens
Select the size of your msword script

Download the book cover.

Now design the paperback cover from the downloaded.

That's all
