1st application was denied based on financial assets. I was very disappointed as I thought my profile and financial history was good enough to get PPR.

My guru @Makano advised we order for GCMS and quickly re-fire. So we ordered for the notes, it came back and we gathered that the VO had issues with lump sum on my account statements.

So we quickly adjusted my SOP and provided explanations plus verifiable receipts for the lump sum, and reapplied again.

As God may have it, application was approved.

My Timeline;
Sep 18th - Application submitted (Biometrics was done on the 22nd of April, 2022 so it updated)
Nov 15th- Eligibility Review
Nov 16th- Medical updated to passed (I did upfront medicals on the 21st of April, 2022)
Nov 16th- PPR

I attached below documents

• Letter of Acceptance.
• Academic and Professional certificates.
• Academic Transcript.
• NYSC certificate.
• Birth Certificate
• Police clearance certificate
• Bio-data page of International Passport
• Drivers' license.
• NIN slip.
• Updated CV
• Staff ID Card.
• Letter of Introduction from my employer.
• Promotion letter.
• Pay slip

CLIENT INFORMATION
• Land Documents (Receipts, Sales Contract, Deed of Assignment, Survey plan)
• Particulars for 2 cars.
• Siblings Birth Certificate and Photos
• CAC document for registered company.

PROOF OF MEANS OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT
• SOP (6 pages).
• Statement of account (Individual and Company) above 20m.
• Salary account Statement.
• Documents showing business presence in Nigeria.

Yes I paid tuition deposit.

I did not provide my own personal statement cos it empty.

I used my mom as sponsor. She had just 4.3m and we provided 3 landed properties

there's nothing bad by using your mom as sponsor just try to increase the money in your mom account and it will good if your mom can transfer a certain amount to your personal account and use gift of deed to back it up

It is advisable to leave the funds in the account while visa processing is ongoing.

IRCC sometimes ask for updated statement of accounts. Note i said sometimes.

IRCC can not have access to your bank account. Yes they can confirm from the bank if the details on the statement submitted is true as at when submitted.

They have access to only the period you submitted in your statement.

Can someone transfer all POF money out of bank account after a month of submission, please specify if you've done it and it work for you

Hello Everyone,
I got denied August 26th based on insufficient funds. Although, I know why I got denied. I had unexplained lumps and the money in my account wasn't up to 4.5m.

I requested for gcms notes August 28th.

Up until now, I haven't gotten my gcms notes.

I have increased my funds and explained every Lumps in my account.
I intend to apply since, I fully know why I was denied.
My resumption is Jan 5. I can't defer again. I have deferred more than twice.

Please your advices is needed.

You said you got denied because the money in your account wasn't up to 4.5m, except from 4.5m did you have any sponsor statement account to back it up then, and did you pay tuition deposit?

Deed of Assignments between you and the purchaser as well as land receipts and Survey Plan. These documents would suffice to prove the source of the large deposit.

SOP and every home ties documents can be together... Home ties and landed documents are not proof of funds so it can’t go there as proof of funds

I have a bulky documents, maybe home ties document can go with consent form space section, second question is it compulsory to download and fill a consent form?

It would have been much easier if the program of study would lead to an academic progression or career development or advancement. If he can answer this , then he can try to explain this in his SOP or contact a professional SOP writer who can help him link all his ideas together.
