i hope this will not be the last time we will be hearing about this project....wake up Okorocha The Imo State government has signed a two billion dollars’ partnership with an international group, African Development Funding Group, to build and develop the proposed Imo Industrial Park. The park will be built in Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State. A memorandum of understanding was also signed at the Ndubuisi Kanu Executive Chambers at the Government House in Owerri the capital of Imo State in southeast Nigeria. The Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, told reporters that the proposed Imo Industrial Park in Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area would generate over one million jobs for youths not only in the state but in the country. He said that the project would turn Imo State into an investment haven which would boost the economy of the country and also increase her gross domestic product. Meanwhile, the Vice President of the African Development Funding Group, Duncan Otieno, said they were willing to partner with Imo State to actualise the project with main focus on road infrastructure, agriculture, construction, and logistics in the industrial park. One of the delegates from the African Development Funding Group is the Nigerian Consul General to South Africa Mrs Uche Ajulu-Okeke. (Channels TV) •Photo shows Governor Okorocha,. May God bless Faroese for protecting his people while Ugwuanyi keeps posing for photo ops with his fat face and stomach. Enugu people shouldn't return the docile, weak and lame Gburugburu for second tenure. An 18 year old herdsman, Haruna Ali, has been sentenced to two years imprisonment by a Chief Magistrate Court Ekiti state for unlawfully grazing his cows in a farmland in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital. Haruna was arraigned before the Magistrate, Idowu Ayenimo, on Jan 22nd 2016 on a two-count charge of willful and unlawful damage of farm crops at Ago Aduloju in Ado-Ekiti. The case after the initial hearing was adjourned to today September 19th. The magistrate while delivering judgement, ordered that the sentence should run concurrently, explaining that the term was minimal because the offence was committed before the Grazing Law was enacted in the state http://dampopp..com.ng/2016/09/ekiti-court-sentences-herdsman-to-two.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter&m=1 |

Abagworo:THIS IS WHAT A RESPONSIVE GOVERNMENT IS DOING..... http://www.thetrentonline.com/ekiti-bill-grazing-ban/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter Ekiti State House of Assembly on Thursday, August 25, 2016 passed a bill to ban free [nomadic] grazing in the state. The bill also prescribed six months imprisonment without an option of fine for any offender of the bill that also ban movement of cattle after 6pm in the state. The passage of the bill followed the submission of a report of its joint committees on agriculture and environment by its chairman, Ayodele Fajemilehin, to the House. The speaker of the house, Kola Oluwawole, who presided over the plenary, said the bill would now reduce the incessant clashes between farmers and herdsmen in the state. If the bill is eventually accented to by the governor, it will now become a crime for any cattle, sheep and goat to graze on undesignated land for ranches in Ekiti. According to the new bill tagged,” Prohibition of Cattle and Other Ruminants Grazing in Ekiti, 2016″, anyone found violating the bill upon conviction shall be sentenced to six months in prison without the option of fine. Others included, “The Governor shall by an order designates land in each of 16 Local Government Areas in the state in respect of which Cattle or Ruminants may be permitted to graze. The rest are,” No person shall cause or permit any cow, oxen, sheep as well as goat under his or her control to graze on any land in which the Governor has not designated as ranches” among others. “No cattle or other ruminants shall by any means move in the night, movement shall be between 7 a.m and 6p.m” This is what i expect the government of Enugu to do instead of putting up a lame defence that i am playing politics |
Abagworo:This is why Nigeria can never be a good place..Evrything must be reduced to politics..I dont have a stake in Enugu state.,.i am not from there but the truth is that i dont give a Bleep what has been happening in the past as i am interested in today and the future.. Ugwuanyi was voted in to correct these anomalies and if they persist it means he has failed as a governor.. moreso, i know you Abagworo..I want to let you klnow that i dont give a Bleep about the line of ''politics'' you are towing...what is bad is bad |
asorocker:Since the federal government has failed to protect its citizens, Enugu state governor cannot continue to fold his arms and watch the people who voted him to power gets killed by fulani herdsmen terrorists... Ugwuanyi has failed and should not seek elective position come 2019. |
Gburugburu is watching helplessly while Fulani continued their killing spree on Enugu soil.....Ugwuanyi has failed the people of Enugu |

Restructuring is not the solution but the present status quo. Restructuring is a cunny attempt by easterners to achieve biafra and it won't happen. History tells us Ojukwu was able to instigate the civil war because he was the head of Eastern region. If we go back to regionalism, non-entities like Nnamdi kanu will rise again and start pushing for biafra which is a bad omen for Nigeria. No part of the country must be allowed to split for no reason. Lord Luggard was an intellectual when he merged us together. There is strength in unity. Let's keep maintaining the present federal system till the Igbo's are patriotic enough to forget biafra
