Please i need good suggestions on another Samsung phone to buy with qualities similar to the S20plus in terms of Camera and processing power. I'm returning the S20 plus i got cuz a green line just appeared in the middle of the screen after just 5 days of use of which the phone never dropped

I ordered on Jumia and it arrived in Abuja in 6 days. Phone came well sealed, as you can see in the pictures below, (the fact that it's an old flagship does not mean it's refurbished).

Specification:
- 6.7 inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X
- Corning Gorilla Glass 6 (front and back)
- 12GB RAM
- 128GB ROM
- Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865
- GSM / CDMA / HSPA / EVDO / LTE / 5G network
- Ultrasonic finger print sensor
- Li-Ion 4500 mAh, non-removable battery
- 25W wired super fast charging
- 15W wireless charging (and 4.5w reverse wireless charging)

I intended updating the phone to check for the blue line which a lot of people complained that it appeared on their S20 screen immediately after software update, but fortunately, mine came with Android 13 One UI 5.1, there was no need for update.

Phone came with:
- 25w super fast charger (Adapter)
- USB type-C cable
- AKG Earpiece
- OTG Connector
- SIM tray ejector

My personal opinion on the blue line:
I think the blue line screen issues only affect the Indian version, which is the Exynos variant. If you use the Snapdragon variant, you can go ahead and update to Android 13 One UI 5.1

NB: I won't be held responsible if your Samsung screen is affected negatively as a result of any software update.

Hi mi fam
Please I recently started having network issues on my RN9
It seems its selects locations to display network or connect to internet. For about 3 days I no longer have network or internet connectivity at home. Every signal just disappears. Can't call can't browse. This is new cuz i used to have signals at home. If i step out or change location I'll start receiving signals in some places, others no signal. At home i swapped my SIM into my Friend's phone to see if it's SIM problem...nd the sim card is perfectly okay
When i put my friend's sim into my phone, there'll be no signal

Please how do I fix this..is it software or hardware ish..

You're going to brick your phone, backdating your update is strenous and not a straight forward process. Better use your phone the way it is.

You can download activity launcher and check if you can force floating windows to work from there but there's a reason Xiaomi removed it for that particular phone.

N.B. I'm almost sure your phone is not lagging because of MiUi 13, leave the update and find what's wrong with your phone
Omo
Seriously the phone hangs and freezes a lot since the update last year...most times i have to reboot. Guess i just have to manage

Boss, how is unical's admission process into the medicine program?

Infact, just talk about the school in it's entirety.
Nothing unconventional really. The Admission process is pretty much the same. You'd write the screening exam for which a high score gives you an Advantage since you'll be met with competition, you know the drill

About the school, it's a'right is all i can say grin ....every school's got it's ups and downs tho undecided

Thanks much for your advice. Just as you said, I have checked YouTube and I have listened to experience of people and Vlogs owned by Africans schooling there. There are fascinating so to say.

Their system give room to do menial jobs while schooling. Most Universities in the Caribbean admit during the September, January and May session. What we know as Pre-clinical in Nigeria, is done in the Caribbean while the Clinical rotations is done in the US. There are lot of Universities in the Caribbean that you can check out, if money is not an issue.

Intelligentdude:
HOW TO GET FULLY-FUNDED SCHOLARSHIP(S).

For MSc/PhD Scholarship:

1) Go to University pages in different countries, look for your course, and email professors in your field. (This is the best and most efficient).

 For MBA Scholarship:

What do you need?

i. A strong GRE/GMAT score or

ii. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Certification

With any of these, you will naturally get funding for your MBA.

2) Look for Government/school-funded Scholarships in different countries. Check their criteria, and apply.

Target Sweden, Germany, France, UAE, Australia, Poland, Norway, Japan, UK, US etc.

Note that this method is more competitive because it is already public.

3) Look for advertised Positions by Lecturers or Departments: Sometimes, lecturers advertise scholarship positions in their labs.

4) There are many schools in the USA where you don't need to send emails to Profs. They specifically mention on their website that all admitted students will get funding.

So, you have to make sure your application is competitive enough.

Check their Admission requirements and apply.

5) If you have a good proposal, email the Grad co-ordinators of various schools, send them your proposal, and tell them to connect you with a Prof. in that field.

This has worked for many people, especially in Australia.

6) Use your social media well: I know people who have gotten scholarships by sending dms to Professsors on Twitter and LinkedIn.

Your social media profile and page must make sense, and your message must carry essential info.

You have to Rt and share things relatable

7) Use a clear display piture and let your header make sense.

Ada, enough of using that half-naked pictures.

Make it average if not professional.

Use LinkedIn a lot. Package it and make it look nice.
