Congratulations to all successful GTs especially my brethren from Benue. Thanks to everyone who kept us updated. No APL yet still we move.
I remember when I missed out on DPR I was depressed and shot out from the world, I was even mad at God but this time I refuse to keep my head down. I return all the Glory to God because all things work together for my good.

I am not a bro and yes, there is good news from the towers. More will be unveiled today as work resumes fully, Atleast most of our sources will be in unison

Was searching through some of my documents today and stumbled upon the NNPC Corporate Policy and Procedure Guide that was given to us during orientation.

It is a very detailed manual that talks about everything associated with NNPC including benefits/ entitlements, training, conditions for leave of absence, working hours, recruitment process ( shortlisting, interview types and panel composition for different grade levels, criteria for success, etc), specific kinds of jobs for each grade level, loans, long service award, secondment to IOCs...name it.

Based on wat i know, you can only study on permission by your employer (either full or part time). The best thing is to meet any NNPC HR staff that you may know and seek for advice (informally). From then, you will know the next stage, formally. Doing it formally will give u advantage to include it in your file upon graduation, should any internal opportunity arises. Though, u may do it with out nnpc knowledge but at your own risk and against the HR handbook.

I just got admission for masters in Unibuja and I'm to start next month. If I get NNPC's offer and I'm posted to Abuja, will it be possible to run the two at same time. Seeing that the masters is full time.

This whole process weak me. It is bad as in very bad enough that stakeholders get as much as 200 slots meant for the common man. This is infact injustice in its highest form.

Now the union is fighting for their own benefit which might be selfish if you ask me.. Seven months after interview and this is what we have. The Nigerian system is highly flawed and nothing to write home about.

If Eh has issues why not continue with the GT since they have already started making contacts.

Those that have access to this list especially Marvel should at least paste a copy so everyone knows their fate. It's been 20months of invested hope and this is nerve wrecking.

Yes, from all indication, the letters are sent in batches. I was assured another batch (I don't know if that will be the last) will arrive tomorrow.

I cannot tell if it is only for GT or both GT and EH. Like I stated earlier, only names were on the list, no position, designation or state of origin. So it is very difficult to tell which is GT or EH.

I would have taken a snapshot of the list to help others check for their names but it would easily be traced back to me because of the nature through which I gained access to the office.

Finally, Abuja Office called my friend yesterday to come pick up her letter by Wednesday. Trust me when I say she has no connection at all. But she is a first class graduate of Petroleum Engineering and highly intelligent.

Sometimes when I read through everyone's thoughts and ideas and believe I came to a conclusion that some needs it better than others,
You keep tagging everything PROTEST either protest or not that's not the case here...
First of all you all have a right to know the level of the recruitment and that's why when you call the customer service they will respond to you on the current situation.
What else do you want to hear and what else do you want them to say,
I'll start this way,
1. The 2013 set someone made mentioned of didn't see any comprehensive list, the love they have for each other made someone to confirm for almost all of them and that was when the list was at FCC waiting for approval.
Plus not everyone who he helped confirming the name on the list and was told his or her name was on it made it through.
2. When you call customer services they answer you with the response of very soon the Apl will be out and later changed to the Apl is out and been distributed. And you will start receiving it.. Please ask yourself from 2 weeks now till now the appointment letters are still yet to arrive.
3. When you ask for appointment letters for those that had interview in Lagos what response do you get, ( lagos own are yet to be distributed ) is that not so, and of which people come from different places down here to lagos to pick up lettera for whom ever who sent them. And not just pick up for 1 or 2 , they come pick up in large numbers like 3-6-4 and so on.. please why ask yourself again why is the letter picked up in Lagos when it has all been sent to zonals...
4.The 2013 set went as far as to protest both in Abuja and lagos from the findings I got from one of them who work now, and It was after the next month the letter were released..
5. Funniest thing some people said here not to module everything up its better not to protest lol I just kept laughing.. maybe you've forgotten someones job is at stake if he doesn't make sure the recruitment is clear and clean... but one thing you must know for sure, some already found out their not included but they are all as well been promised to relax to fix them up.. where do you think they want to fix them up..
6. Appointments letter has been received by some and you say they've not started officially lol did the customer service denied not been distributed.. you guys just need to wake up ah ah ah once it's been disbursed and they all get there induction fixed then it makes you automatically unsuccessful
7. What official calling do you need ? Please tell me, that dpr will call your own particular number and say Mr so so and so come and pick your letter, if it's that you are expecting then it's been done by saying Mr governor or Mr senator your slots are ready... make una wake up kai
8. What am pissed about is no one of you is making move instead have seen lots of people come down here to ask singly asking if appointment letter are been shared and you are been asked show me the letter that was given to you or were you called or texted..
Please ask yourself how can you even show to someone you were called is it the same number that many people called or how can you show a text that wasn't sent.. if anyone claimed to be texted tell the person to show you the text.. and please tell me how was a person that came to receive 4 -5 appointment letters at a go was texted was he tested with 5 messages of all candidates.. if you doubt me come abayomi sit down you will see them collecting it if it still remain..
I never thought I'll type this much but I can't just see things go wrong sometimes and I act like am not concerned.. and mind you am older than any GT and EH Because I am sure none of the two age qualification is more than 40 years of age.. why I said that is to make you understand am not here to talk about my pain it means I lifted my load already.. that aside

Please my advice is you all can mobilize in Group be the firt to arrive here let them see you outside the gate before they come in large numbers am not talking of 10 here.. large numbers and that will pass a message then it shows to them and let them understand your lying Dog isn't sleeping..

And is nothing enough to justify why someone they call stakeholders receive letter before merits

Its obvious you want to be of help but sincerely we can't go to the battlefield without being equipped.

You are well informed of the happenings in DPR to the extent of knowing how many letters were collected per day.. Sir give us something a list or something to base our protest allegations on. What is worth doing is worth doing well. With the type of passion and energy you are using to lead us on, I urge you to do more cos you have shown us you have access to more.

We were told sometime last week that letters will be released in batches first batch this week and then another next weekk. I guess its stakeholders batch first and then merit next week. We wait till next week especially since zonal coordinators were at the HQ yesterday, they should be returning to their various zones with the letters. So by Monday we all will know where this process is headed

I was privileged to have access to the list of all successful applicants including scores, and I get classified briefing! I want to urge every one of you to follow the handles that have been created. I will not be responding the DMs unfortunately for reasons best known to me. [b][/b]Kindly note that I'm just a concerned citizen trying to make a difference.

If we are able to successfully to pull this stunt and all successful applicants receive their appointment letters, I will be the happiest man ever to live.

I want to also urge successful ones that have APLs to follow the handles as well, together we can change this and everyone can be collectively happy.

Let us be our brother's keeper at this point, so many people are hanging on the line, they have invested time and effort, some are with no jobs, some are underemployed, some are in bitterness right now. Let's fight this menace together. Let us end this selfishness for once!!!

Nice job so far.. But if you really are concerned about us you should be able to share the list with us as it will be a good foundation to lay our protest on and also calm some nerves. Also I advise you share a copy of you employment letter so we know you mean well for the rest of us.

The letters currently available are not for candidates on merit. And the owners have started picking up their APL in Lagos as I am speaking.

So what of those with merit? Will we ever get to pick ours or after this 200 letters the case will be closed?

I wonder why nobody from Lagos is volunteering to go make enquiries from the HQ.

As at yesterday afternoon no letter was at Abuja zonal office. Those in Lagos are claiming same. I just wonder where exactly these letters are being dispatched from. Since maiduguri which is at the far north is already contacting successfuls.
