The only political value Wike has is Rivers State oil money.

Take that out, and he's nothing.

PDP needs that oyel money (at least before they get back into power), that's why every member is trying so hard to pacify him to stay and support the party.

Also, Wike should also remember the fact that the likes of former governors Peter Odili and Rotimi Ameachi are still there with their own influence and structures. He's not the only one with large following in Rivers.

Ameachi's body language has been quiet towards this election.

Rivers state isnt happy with Apc due to the ill treatment seem melted on Amaechi not to even talk of their Muslim Muslim ticket. The truth is that Wike will find it extremely difficult to sell Apc to Rivers state citizens. Infact that ll be suicidal for his political career. Pdp ll still get some votes above Apc in Rivers state. But the benefactor of all this drama is LP.. Infact on presidential level, most members of both pdp and apc are already routing for LP.

I really wished the PDP gave Obi the ticket, or Kwankwaso succumbed to be his running mate, I would have long heave a sigh of relief...
