While it is insensitive to run with a Muslim-muslim ticket, the APC giving it's chairmanship to a Christian will go a long way to assure everyone of it's commitment to our diversity as a people. The campaign DG position is nothing and thank God they saw that it didn't do much to calm frayed nerves. Party chairmanship is a better deal. I support the APC on this one.

The only reason Rivers state will not go the way of Peter Obi would have been when either Wike or Rotimi Amaechi were on the ballot papers of their respective parties (PDP and APC). Now both feel used and dumped by their respective parties.

Note my submissions:

1. Wike will not leave PDP even if he wish to. It's become difficult for him bcoz his boys are contesting in different positions in PDP and we now have a very strict Electoral Law.

2. Any Agreement signed with Atiku would not be honored. Atiku believes Wike doesn't respect him and Atiku is just holding his patients bcoz he believes Wike has ridiculed him enough.

3. Wike will not get any Appointment from Atiku presidency. Atiku won't give him anything.

4. Wike political relevance is about to end. This is rather unfortunate bcoz he's a vibrant and fearless politician of note but this is Nigeria politics.

With Wike, Asiwaju can be sure of at least 25% of the votes which is a great feat considering the fact that both Obi & Atiku will dilute each other votes. If you fail to secure bloc vote from Rivers, where else will Atiku get the numbers in the South?

The only thing that can give Atiku a lifeline in this election is if Peter Obi withdraw for him coz for every one vote Peter Obi gets, it is -1 for PDP and +1 for APC.

I happen to witness the incident, and I'd say both are at fault, there were just few cars bfr the soldier's bus which the police saw, it cost the police nothing to spare few minutes to allow the soldiers pass for sake of peace bfr stopping other cars, they might have been on orders and late coming is always punished in the military. And when they came down in rage to question the policemen, the police men to were showing power and superiority hence reasons for the damages
