Your 20s are a time when everything seems possible, but it also seems like everything is passing you by. It’s no secret that these days, adolescence is being stretched past our teen years, and many of us are suffering for it. Here are some of the habits and hang-ups we typically face during our 20s and what we need to do let them go. 1. Stop caring more about approval than earning it. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to feel validated for your hard work. The problem is when you spend more time searching for a pat on the back than going out and giving people a reason to recognize you. 2. Stop being thankless. Being ungrateful, unappreciative, or however else you want to say it, is the same as being selfish. Sure, you’d never admit that you’re an overall selfish person, but you may be oblivious to all of the goodwill thrown your way. Take moments to recognize the people in your life that are responsible for your happiness. 3. Stop comparing yourself to everyone else. There are two sides to this. On the one hand, it’s essential for you to let yourself be motivated by the success of others. That is what will push and inspire you to accomplish more for your own life. The dark side to this is envy. Your 20’s are a time when you must learn how to be content with your limitations and accomplishments, putting aside the pettiness of envy. 4. Stop being lazy. If you really want to stop being lazy and start being more productive, remove the things from your life that are keeping you lazy. Our generation is unique. We have a wealth of technology and endless distractions at our fingertips, but we’re lazier than ever with gifts that should be making us happy, not inactive. It’s time to prioritize. 5. Stop being busy. Sometimes, being lazy doesn’t look like laziness. It can look like you’re busy. Instead of working, creating, and contributing, you’re settling for an infinite array of tasks that will keep you distracted until you get from point A to point B. Start making time for the things that matter. 6. Stop being narcissistic. Get over yourself. Let people get to know the real you, not a fake image you’ve put up for yourself through selfies and clever Tweets. 7. Stop blaming others. The buck stops with you now. You’re not a kid anymore, so it’s time to own up to your own failings. Your lot in life may not be 100% your doing, but your attitude is. 8. Stop putting things off. Don’t let the prime of your life slip you by. Start taking advantage of the adventures life won’t give you a second chance on before settling down. Go for the dream job. Move somewhere you’ve never heard of. It won’t be long before you lose your chance. 9. Stop thinking you’re invincible. I love taking stupid risks too, but it’s time to take care of yourself. Go to the doctor, avoid dangerous stunts and stop forcing everyone around you to worry constantly about you. 10. Stop relying on your parents so much. This is easier said than done, but it’s time. You’ll make mistakes, feel trapped, and it won’t always be fun. But you’ll be amazed at how strong you really are. 11. Stop being disagreeable. When someone offers a viewpoint different from yours, don’t do everything in your power to prove you’re perfect. Start understanding that there are people in this world who are smarter than you and will disagree with you. Embrace them as opportunities for growth, not ways for you to win an empty argument. 12. Stop treating your job as a daycare. I’ve come across a lot of 20 somethings who believe the point of their job is to collect a paycheck and move on. They’re then shocked when they get overlooked for promotions, raises, or keeping that job. Don’t let your work be average or “good enough.” Provide value for the people who employ you. 13. Stop letting fear and uncertainty stop you. Fear isn’t really a choice. It’s a door that we can choose to either walk through or walk away from. In most cases, it’s never going to be easier to walk through later on, so let it go. Don’t let yourself become full of regret. 14. Stop being cheap. There’s value to a minimal lifestyle, and frugality isn’t something to trend away from. But you should also let yourself spend money on the things you truly want, within reason. Buy the nicer clothes once in a while. Buy food that is good for you. Saving money is vital, but so is investing in the things that make you happy. 15. Stop daydreaming. You should never stop having dreams and goals, but the time is up for you to spend all of your time planning ahead. Live in the moment more and focus on accomplishing what’s already before you. Save the dreaming for moments of meditation and reflection. 16. Stop expecting life to be fair. Bad things happen. People will wrong you. Instead of dwelling on what you can’t change, consider that you can’t expect the world or anything to be perfect when no one is more imperfect than you. 17. Stop resisting change. Your 20’s are a volatile time. Let go of the past and adapt to the inevitable changes of life. Start appreciating the new and memorable things that come your way. 18. Stop allowing yourself to be too comfortable. Your best is ahead of you. 19. Stop living your life for others. You should take care of your responsibilities and those who rely on you, but you also need to start making your own decisions. If your career, lifestyle, and location have all been decided for you, then there’s less for you take ownership of. 20. Stop being a follower. There’s nothing with having mentors and people to look up to, but it’s time for you to start leading. Do what it takes to formulate strong and respectable opinions on what you value. As you navigate through the many challenges of young adulthood, get used to exhibiting the leadership that is expected of you once your 20s are over. |

There are things we must carry and handle with extra- carefulness because these things are fragile and once broken, it is not easy to put back together and once some of these things get broken, they can lead to huge damage and destiny wastage. 1. Your Name: Your name is very important and fragile. There are names that stinks in the ears of people simply because, those who bear those names spoilt the name. The way to handle your name with care is to be careful of your doings. Your actions can rubbish your name. A good name can open doors for you & for your children and generations after you. Carry your name with carefulness. It is a huge asset. Here is one of the quotes written by Shakespeare: 'Whoever steals my purse steals trash; 'tis something, nothing; 'Twas mine, 'tis his, and has been slave to thousands; But he that filches from me my good name, my enviable reputation Robs me of that which does not enrich him, But makes me poor indeed'. 2: Your heart: Many hearts are broken, shattered, wounded and bitter today. One of the factors responsible for this is because many of these hearts' owners were careless with their hearts. You can guard your heart from being broken and bitter. Run away from people, and things that are bent on breaking your heart. Carry your heart like a crate of eggs. You need a whole heart before you can be said to be fully whole! 3: Your Vision: Your vision is your destiny. If you don't handle it with utmost care, it can slip off your hands and gaze and get broken. So many things can come like pressure on this crate of egg of vision. Discouragement, lack of fund, anxieties, etc. These are things that may want to come like pressure on your vision to break it. Don't allow them! Carry it with care. Carry your vision away from people and things that may want to put pressure on it and break it. 4: Your health: You have only this body as a vehicle that will carry you through your journey of destiny in this life. Handle your health with care. No matter how big your vision is, once you are dead, nobody can really run the vision like you! Fight for your health. Avoid things that can destroy your health. Wealth is useless when your health becomes useless. Don't kill yourself before your time. Do your best to stay alive. WE STILL NEED YOU HERE ON EARTH. Don't use your FORK, KNIFE, GLASS and your SPOON to dig your grave. Watch what you EAT and DRINK. Don't eat anything because it is edible and don't drink anything because it is appetizing. Always pray for divine immunization against sickness and diseases. 5: Your Marriage: SO MANY PEOPLE HANDLE THEIR MARRIAGE LIKE A CARTON OF INDOMIE NODDLE. Your marriage is fragile. Handle it like a crate of egg. It must not break! A broken marriage is not easily put back together, because, when a marriage breaks, many things get broken with it. But Remember it takes two to tango, Husband and wife must always carry their marriage like an egg. It must not break! 6: Your words: Your worth is attached to your words. Be careful with words. Once broken, you can't gather them up again. Many people are careless with their words. They speak violently . They make empty promises and break them. Some say things they later wish they never said. Guard your words.even James 1:26 say it all. Be careful with your diction. 7: Your eternity Those who are running up and down to fulfill destiny here on Earth without thinking of their eternity do not belong here! The matter of eternity is not something you should handle with levity. Think about where you will spend eternity. You will die one day. I will also die one day. All that we are and have in this world are vanity upon vanity. Take the matter of your end very serious. Stop living carelessly as if you have extra life. Don't live for the pleasure of this world. Have the hereafter in mind in all that you do. Grace is available. |

*19 ways to fix your wife - before/when she is falling apart!* Your wife can be dying in silence while still performing her wifely duties. you will need to know her to know when she needs to be fixed. When a woman is always moody, cries a lot, yells on Children, can easily sleep or sleeps a lot, she may be battling with something you are not careful enough to see. A real man will not allow his wife to fall apart without fixing her and making her better and happy. If you discover your wife is falling apart, watch out and fix the following: *1. CHECK IF YOU ARE THE PROBLEM* You might be her problem, but out of her respect and love for you, she may not tell you. Ask, let her talk sincerely *2. BE AWARE OF HER RESPONSIBILITIES* Get to know how her work load is killing her. Regardless of whether she stays at home or goes to work, do you know what she does all day? If you don’t, ask her. Her to-do list is probably overflowing with tasks that far outweighs her time and energy. *3. BE APPRECIATIVE* Be mindful of her needs and appreciative of her sacrifices. The work a woman does at home can be too common that nobody will appreciate her for them, this can be killing her. Appreciate your wife *4. GET INVOLVED BEFORE SHE BURNS OUT* Don’t just be appreciative, but get involved. The best time to begin helping your wife is now. Don’t wait until she breaks down to offer a helping hand. *5. GET MACHINE* Get all the machine needed for her work at home (the ones you can afford). Dish washer, gas cooker, refrigerator, oven, laundering Machine etc *6. BE AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT* Be totally involved at home, stop delegating parenting and family life. Don’t be a “visiting Professor”, be an active partner in this business of your life. It takes two to parent. It takes two to make a marriage work. It takes two to run a household. Be fully involved in every aspect of your family life. *7. HOLD HER* Hold her like a lover and a friend. Place your hands on her shoulder, her laps, hold her hands, just hold her and let her feel you. *8. JUST LISTEN* Men are known to be good talker but very bad listeners. At times what your wife needs is for you to just listen. Do not interrupt, let her unburden, let her talk. Sometimes the best way for a woman to reset is by getting all of her thoughts out. Let your wife talk through her feelings and problems. Show empathy. Listen carefully. Ask questions. Be fully engaged in the conversation. *9. BE A PARTNER NOT A TEACHER* Most men do fall into the “Teaching trap” when they are supposed to be a partner, showing love and consideration. Do not blame, just be there for her. Just listen. That’s all you need to do. And if she wants you to offer solutions, she’ll ask for them *10. GIVE HER HOPE* No matter what happens, don’t ever raise up your hands in surrender. Giving up, crying or weeping will hurt your wife more. Encourage her. Let her know what you love about her. Help her see the good in any situation. Avoid being critical or negative. When she has hit the rock bottom, be the man who lifts her up, and brings light and hope back into her life. *11. BE SENSITIVE* Get to know her mood, get to know her needs, get to know what is needed to be done at home and do them without prompting Learn the art of looking around the house and finding things that need to get done. Are there dishes in the sink? What is broken that needs to be fixed? Don’t wait to be asked. Just do it! *12. PRAY FOR HER* Take your time off to pray for her, hand her over to her maker who knows the deepest need of her heart . Let God fix her, you can’t do it. Let God know what you appreciate about her. Ask for his help. Ask him to tell you how you can be a better spouse to her. Ask him to comfort her and help her see herself as He sees her. *13. PRAY WITH HER* Don’t just pray for your wife, find time to pray with her, hug her as you pray together, hold her hands, just talk to your maker together. *14. ASK HER HOW YOU CAN BE OF HELP* Your wife knows what you can do to help her reset, so just ask her. She will open up to you, it may not be what you think, so don’t speculate, ask, She’ll appreciate it more than you will ever know. *15. HELP AROUND THE HOUSE* Give a helping hand around the house. Give her a kitchen holiday for some days, do all the cooking or hire somebody to do it for you. Let her just sit, eat and rest, this may be all she needs, *16. TAKE HER OUT* Take her out, eat out, go to the cinema, go to wherever she will love to go, not where you want, just follow her. *17. ALLOW HER TO CRY,IF SHE MUST* “Stop crying, are you a baby?, will you be crying about this little thing?” This is what most nude earning husband will do when their wives cry, what an insensitive word. If she feels like crying, hold her to yourself and let her do the crying while you pat her on the back. It’s a great way to fix the problem. *18. LET HER GO ON HOLIDAY* Allow her to go on holiday all alone to herself, this can fix the problem as she returns with greater energy. *19. CELEBRATE HER* Let your wife be celebrated. Celebrate her in secret and in public. Talk about her beauty, motherhood, wifehood, support, thoughtfulness. This will make her day. *Let all the men read and apply....* *Let the women read and pass to the men......especially their husbands * |

*13 WAYS TO CORRECT YOUR WIFE WITHOUT HURTING HER FEELINGS* ******************************** Most Men do hurt their Wives in the name of correcting them. They speak harshly, they are so rash in their approach and can be very brutal. Lots of women are living their lives in bitterness and anger due to the careless ways their husbands have been talking to them over time. Here you will be able to know the right ways to talk to your wife without hurting her: *1) LOWER YOUR VOICE:* Don’t shout at her, she is not your housemaid, she is not a Child. You can correct, yes, but why shouting? *2) DO IT IN LOVE:* Correction should be done in love if done in any other way it turns to criticism and condemnation. *3) DON’T CRITICIZE:* Stop criticizing her, rather correct in love. Most will say it’s constructive criticism, true? It means disapproval by pointing out errors and mistakes. Correction is the act of offering better options to mistakes. Correction and criticism are never the same. Husband A says: what manner of food is this? is this popcorn or fried Rice? how I wish I marry a more sensible wife, with better home training, who can cook better. Husband B says: Sweetheart this rice is too salty and dry unlike the one you did yesterday. I think salt should be reduce any other time because of our health. Husband A criticized, Husband B, corrected his wife in love. Stop criticizing your wife. *4) PRAISE HER FOR WHAT IS RIGHT* : It will be wrong to correct when it’s not well done when you don’t praise when it’s well done. Form the habit of praising and appreciating your wife for good deeds. *5) DON’T DO IT BEFORE YOUR CHILDREN:* Avoid correcting your wife in the presence of your Children. Incessant correction of your wife before your Children will make them disrespect her. *6) DON’T CORRECT HER IN THE PUBLIC* : Avoid correcting your wife in the public, it does not show you as a gentleman, and will affect her self-esteem. *7) AVOID CORRECTION IN ANGER:* Stop correcting your wife in anger, shouting, ranting, beating and making trouble. Real men don’t do that. * DON’T COMPARE HER WITH ANY OTHERWOMAN* : In your thought of correcting her, you might have been comparing her with other women. “Don’t you see what your friend is doing?” “Can’t you learn from our neighbors wife?” “and so” This is very wrong, no woman love to be compared with others, stop it. *9) AVOID REFERRING TO OLD ISSUES* Avoid referring to issues discussed and settled, stick to the present issue, discuss like adults and move on. *10) DON’T ATTACK HER WOMANHOOD:* And you call yourself a woman? Virtuous women don’t behave like this, you better change before I change you. This is very wrong, don’t do it. *11) DON’T ATTACK HER DIGNITY* : You don’t behave like someone with sense, do you think at all? And you said you went to school, I doubt it. This is very wrong, you too, you are not talking like somebody that pass through a college. *12) DO IT IN TIME OF PEACE:* Most husbands do want to correct in the heat of anger, at the height of misunderstanding, when temper has already hit the roof. That is not the best time to correct, it will yield little or no result. *13) GIVE A HELPING HAND*: The best way to correct is to lead by example, step into the kitchen to give a helping hand, don’t just sit in the front of the Television correcting what goes on in the kitchen. Wives are doing a great job, appreciate yours and support her to be a better wife and mother. May Gods blessings be on our homes |

Representing one’s country and playing international football should be the pinnacle of a player’s career, believing there ought to be great pride and honour in representing your country. However, some greatest players swapped national teams, sometimes more than once. Eventually, Most of these players who play for more countries face the difficulties of choosing either their native country or the descent country. So they feel like if they were to choose one; the other might be offended. This the top 5 of players you might know that have played for two or more different countries: 5.). Thiago Motta Former Barcelona midfielder Thiago Motta has played for a several of top European clubs over the last years, such as; Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Genoa, Inter Milan, and PSG, since 2012. A great midfielder with good vision and passing abilities, Motta has attained 18 trophies at club level, including league titles in Spain, Italy and France, as well as winning the Champions League twice. The PSG midfielder first played internationally for his native Brazil, winning two caps in 2003, but since he was not recalled for eight years, in 2011 he accepted a call-up from Italy. 4.). Michel Platini The Former UEFA president Michel Platini won Ligue 1, Serie A, European Cup and European Championship as well as three Ballon d’Ors in his glorious career. He took France to two World Cup semi-finals and most would probably consider Michel Platini to be France’s greatest player of all time. He won 72 caps for France, scoring 41 goals from midfield and having great success, most notably at Euro ’84. After retiring from football with Juventus. Platini played for another national team appearing in a friendly game for Kuwait side against the Soviet Union. 3. Nacer Chadli Natively from Belgium but being of Moroccan descent, it is more understandable that Nacer Chadli had a hard decision to make with regards to which country to represent at the international level. Chadli was first called up to the Morocco squad in 2010 and accepted the call-up. A year later Chadli switched his allegiances, and since that time the West Bromwich Albion winger has been doing well in his current national team Belgium. 2. DIEGO Costa Costa is a typical example of a today player who has played for two national teams, Diego Costa represented his native Brazil twice before making the controversial decision to shifting his adherence and play for Spain instead. La Liga and Premier League winner who seems to have controversy follow him wherever he goes played for Brazil in friendly games. Therefore, FIFA allowed him to switch national teams. And Costa headed to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with Spain, but Ironicly, both countries’ tournaments ended in humiliation. 1.) Alfredo Di Stefano. The five-time European Cup winner, two-time Ballon d’Or winner, was named as Spain’s greatest player of the last 50 years in 2003. Alfredo Di Stefano made the transition to playing for the Spanish national team whilst playing in Madrid. Di Stefano actually played for three national teams; firstly his native country Argentina, then Colombia and finally Spain. He made big name for himself especially in his Spain, but Unfortunately for him he never had the chance to played in World Cup. |

We live in the 21st century where a lot of things are taken for granted even in the church. The church building is a special place of worship and it requires special behavior. Though the church is like a home where we are supposed to feel comfortable, *it’s not an opportunity for misconduct!*. The church shouldn’t be a place where anything goes. A lot of Christians like to take God’s abundant grace for granted, being that he is very merciful. These days a lot of people conduct themselves in offensive manners in church. Some engage in activities that are both distracting and very annoying. Some do things they wouldn’t try in their offices or during business meetings Below are some offensive things some people do in church. Sure, you would find one or more you are guilty of. 1. *Constantly looking at your wristwatch to check time*: Most people are guilty of this. Once the sermon is getting too long, they begin to take glances at the wristwatch, praying the service would come to an end quickly. 2. *Chewing gums* : Have you ever sat near someone in church who is chewing gum like a cow chewing cud? You know how annoying that can be. Some even go as far as making silly sounds and blowing bubbles. 3. *Receiving calls, pinging and texting* : This is pure disrespect for God! As if it’s not bad enough that your phone rings out during service, you will now go ahead to pick the call. You see some people pinging and texting during service. This is just so wrong. Would you be pinging if your boss was talking to you? God deserves more respect. 4 *Wearing party clothes to church*: There are clothes meant for church. You shouldn’t wear your skimpy and revealing clothes to church. Just because the church allows you the freedom to be comfortable doesn’t mean you have to take it for granted. 5. *Taking selfie during service* : This applies to mostly the ladies. They are the ones who like to take photos of peoples outfit and hairstyles for fun or because they also want to make that style. 6. *Sleeping and snoring* during sermons: It’s funny when you spot people sleeping, snoring and falling over their neighbours. You might be tired and all but try and keep your eyes open. Its just for a little while and you will be in your bed. 7. *Coming late*: Some people are in the habit of coming to church when the sermon is about to start or half way into the service. Some give the excuse of not being able to get their children ready on time. During school days, how do you manage to get them to school before 8a.m.? If you can get them to school early and if you can get to your place of work early, you can also get to church early. 8. *Gisting during service* : Most people engage in silly chit-chats while the service is going on, not paying attention to to the pastor and end up missing out. 9. *Keeping your eyes open during prayers to watch how others are praying:* Close your eyes and pray your own so that your miracle doesn’t pass you by. Stop watching others. 10. *Public display of affection*: We understand you love your spouse a lot but can you keep the petting till you are out of the church. It could be distracting to those around you. 11 *Reading newspapers and magazines* Some men do this during sermons and prayers. Why come to church if that can't wait till you get home! 12. *Jotting the pastor or speaker’s grammatical errors*: Some people do this to keep themselves busy. Instead of listening to get the message, they pay attention to get all the errors the pastor will make. Men and brethren would you blow bubbles or make noise with your gum if you were standing in a court of law, and in front of a judge? Would you pick you’re your calls when your boss is talking to you? If your answer is no, then you shouldn’t do it in God’s presence. *God deserves RESPECT and HONOR above these two examples* . Spit out your gum, turn off your cell phone, check that you’re appropriately dressed and make the most of the precious little time you have to spend in the presence of God. |
