It is hard to be a freelancer, as nobody knows you yet ! You need to build your portfolio.

I would advise you do an Internship with a company to strengthen & solidify your skills.
Thanks
But I'll probably just create apps because I intend to be involved in other things apart from programming, I want to multitask

Yes, I am.

There is a very high demand for Females in this Industry, Survey says there are 92% of Male programmers in the World. Very few females.
So companies are trying to balance it. The demand is way too higher than supply.

Opportunities are endless for Females. So If you are not lazy & can put in work 4 hours every day for 6 months. You are fine.

You can also become a female programmer & still maintain your fresh feminine look, and stylish dress sense with nice hair. Nothing wrong with that, you don't have to be manly.

Please take a look at Lyndsey Scott who is a Model & a programmer (IOS) , https://stackoverflow.com/users/2274694/lyndsey-scott

Stay blessed.
Nice.
But you said companies?
What if I don't want to work for any company and just want to be a freelancer

Sista, If I should advise you like you advised me on this same Forum. You should learns the basics of Programming First.

1. Conditional statements. 2. Loops 3. Basic Operations 4. Logical thinking 5. Features of Object Oriented programming like Inheritance, Polymorphism, Abstraction, Encapsulation.

Further more, after learning all these. You should strive to learn IOS development for iPhone instead of Android.

The platform is more stable & Pay is relative 25% better globally.

Also Females have more advantage now in this field as at now. People will argue with this. But (If you know, You know) cheesy
Thanks dear
Are you a programmer?

Your points are very revealing....

I have never thought of taking advantage of strategic seasonal bulk buying.

Waooo.
Yes
And also instead of buying things from the main market, if you know any local market where you can in bulk from try that place. Things like fish, pepper, yams, beans, garri etc and other things to usually cheaper among locals

You sound like my mum. cool cool Thanks for the concern. However i believe that "He who has not found what he can die for is not fit to live". Honestly am not doing this for myself alone. In the future i want my life to be a source of inspiration to younger generations of Nigerian. I want them to know that they can take risks pursue their dreams and become successful without bowing to societal pressure and beliefs e.g (You cant become successful unless you get a certificate e.t.c)

Anyways,
If you want to get started with learning programming you can take this simple interactive course at:

I also am not a certificate freak, however I think you should try to finish what you started, especially in a country like Nigeria. Just take it as a another feather on your cap.

I asked you a question earlier. if I want to learn programming for Android , where can I learn it without prior knowledge of anything about programming before?

Hi
TravelRe: Lies Of Nigerians Living In America by generationz(f): 6:09pm On Nov 16, 2017
donniemc:
Did you even read what i wrote huh

The averagely successful programmer in America makes $120,000 per year (before taxes)

The averagely successful programmer in Nigeria makes about about $20,000 per year (7.5 million)

Meanwhile,

The averagely successful Android / iPhone/ios programmer anywhere in the world makes close to $400,000 per year

That's 3 times more than what an averagely successful programmer makes in America!.

The moral lesson here is to try and publish as many Android / Ios app you can as a programmer which would in turn increase your chances of becoming an averagely successful Android/ ios Programmer so that you can earn $400,000 per year!.

Unfortunately,
Nigeria has only a handful of Android / ios programmers (less than 100). majority of the programmers in Nigeria are web programmers!(at least 99.6%).They code with languages like Php(Laravel), Asp.net, node.js et.c....these web languages can help you get a few freelance jobs but ultimately you would not make as much money as even an average mediocre Android developer.

This is why developers in Nigeria are struggling!!. And that is why in my previous post i suggested that anyone considering to learn programming should just learn Android /ios programming (kotlin or swift).

Believe me, there are Flashlight apps on the Google Play Store that make more than $3,000 per day

Here is a link to one:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peacock.flashlight

Nothing,
Absolutely nothing stops you from creating one yourself!. infact you can even just buy the source code to one flashlight app and publish it on the Playstore. Here is a link to pruchase the source code:

https://www.chupamobile.com/android-full-applications/android-flashlight-app-962

Again,
Am an Android programmer,I dropped out of school, i have over 60 apps on the Play store. I make quite a lot on the play store!. I wont trade my Nigerian driver's license for an America citizenship!!
Why did you drop out of school
TravelRe: Lies Of Nigerians Living In America by generationz(f): 6:00pm On Nov 16, 2017
donniemc:
Again!,
Maybe you did not read what i wrote!!

Ok,
here we go again,

Below is a link to an Android app (Flashlight app) that makes atleast $3,000 per day
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peacock.flashlight

2)If truly you are a programmer. you would know that you don't need an ounce of talent to make a flashlight app!. Heck you can even just purchase source of Apps from www.chupamobile.com, skin them, add Admob ads and publish them on the Play store.

Experimentally,
If you have just 50 apps on the play store. And you make an average of $10 per day on each app. well thats $500 per day(N200k per day)
So its not about talent its just about exposure and knowing what to do!!

3)Like i said, most programmers in Nigeria are Web developers, the few Android developers we have have less than 3 apps on the Play store. infact most of them have more medium.com blog post about Android than they have Android apps on the Play store grin. You can't be successful like that!. ignorance is the bane here!!.

Like i said,
If you have 50 apps on the Play store at least you would be averaging between $300 - $500 per day. No matter how powerful your village people are!, they can stop that daily income!.

I just exposed a powerful secret! to you, you can argue with it, or get rich off it!

Goodluck again!
Can one create such apps without any programming experience, or if I studied programming on udemy or coursera

Introverted Sensing Thinking Judging (Introverted Sensing with Extraverted Thinking)

The Duty Fulfiller...

More

Your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you take things in via your five senses in a literal, concrete fashion. Your secondary mode is external, where you deal with things rationally and logically. You are a quiet and reserved individual; you are interested in security and a peaceful living...

I personally think the words are too kind, they're probably not telling me the whole truth OR being too subtle about it.

Better still Google the weaknesses of the isfj personality type

25 Struggles Only ENFPs Will Understand
By Heidi Priebe , September 17th 2014

ENFPs are passion-driven ‘ideas’ people. They gain energy from interacting with the world around them, and become quickly excited over new possibilities. Though ENFPs loves being around people, they crave alone time much more than the average extrovert. ENFPs search for a deeper meaning in just about everything, and use their much-coveted alone time to decide how their experiences fit in with their system of core values. To be frank, it’s an exhausting personality to have. Here are a few struggles most ENFPs face.
1. Getting your energy from social interaction, but disliking superficial conversations. Yes, I want to go to a party tonight. But a party full of contemplative people who want to alternate between taking shots and discussing the meaning of life.
2. Being very socially conscious but also fiercely individualistic. This means always wanting to fit in with a group, but never wanting to compromise your personality to do so.
3. The constant tug-of-war between ‘YES, I WANT TO GO EXPERIENCE EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW’ and ‘Wow, I need a lot of time to process these experiences, can I take a breather?’
4. Having a thousand great ideas that you never follow through on.
5. Regularly forgetting that your physical needs exist.

6. Getting into the perfect job/relationship/groove and hearing that nagging voice in the back of your mind going “But maybe there’s something even BETTER out there…”
7. Constantly contradicting yourself because you genuinely see multiple sides to most situations.
8. Everyone thinking you’re flirting with them, all of the time.
9. Being a HUGE, UNSTOPPABLE FORCE of creativity and productivity… an hour before the deadline.
10. Getting bored 500 times faster than the average human being.
11. Constantly biting off more than you can chew… and then chewing it out of stubbornness.
12. Stressing out friends and acquaintances who don’t like straying from the original plan.
13. Working towards a constantly altering notion of your “ideal self.”
14. When you have to complete a task that you simply cannot find a way to make fun.
15. Begrudgingly identifying Peter Pan as your spirit animal.
16. People underestimating your intelligence because you lead with the fun, upbeat parts of your personality.
17. Needing significantly more alone time than other extraverts.
18. Others being surprised that you hold such strong opinions and beliefs, despite your easy-going nature.
19. Trying to explain to the people closest to you that yes you love pretty much everyone, but you love them the MOST.
20. People thinking you’re looking for advice when you simply need to process things out loud.
21. Staying in bad relationships because you focus on how things COULD be rather than how they are.
22. Wanting to be alone… but like, with other people nearby.
23. Appearing shallow because of your tendency to flit from topic to topic in conversation, with lightening speed.
24. Having a fiercely independent streak… but getting bored without company.
25. Being a walking contradiction in almost every way, but knowing that you wouldn’t change a thing, even if you could.

well being sanguine and phlegmatic comes from being tested and purified and refined in the fire of affliction. I have passed through that torturous fire. it stabilises you emotionally. it also helps knowing the spiritual knowledge of how this world functions. when you combine those two you become sanguine and phlegmatic. nothing can ever rattle you again. some say you become less emotional and less empathetic but i see those two qualities as weaknesses anyway. you cant be letting good or bad news affect you emotionally. you have to be solid. so yeah it is what it well hun, thanks for the kind words

two nice words by the way lol. had to google the meaning to be sure it is what i thought it was grin

There are two types the Tim LaHaye typing
And the Myers Briggs personality test

Since you are such a curious cat, I'lld like you to take the (lanre olusola personality test) , Google it and get back to me

Actually sanguine phlegmatics are very emotional they are very kind and try as much as possible to stay out of trouble . They prefer to compromise, than quarrel with people
They are also funny outgoing and friendly.

it could be. not the sexual act itself but the symbolism of the sexual act. the mesage in it. because there is a message to it. and to get the message i will need to know who was the person they had sex with in the dream. description of the person. because in that sexual act did 2 become 1 and in knowing who this person is we can get the spiritual significance of having sex with that person and who you became 1 with. and then i can tell you the reason for the misfortune
1 what if you don't recognize the person or its someone you don't know
2 what if it's an ex

well i suppose if the spirit husband or wife is leading you to destruction by having you indulge in destructive behavior that is wrecking your life they can be termed as succubus and incubus. if they are inducing you to destruction. like how bobby brown and whitney houston were to each other till she got consumed with the drugs and destroyed and died.

how to know if you have a spirit husband or wife ? if your life starts changing drastically when you meet them. deep attachment because it is a spiritual connection ordained so there will be an obsessive connection of sorts maybe extreme jealousy, you cant live with the person but at the same time you cant live without the person like a connection you know is destroying you but you cant get away from. they will be stuck with you till the mission ordained celestially is accomplished etc

spirit husband or wife is someone whose destiny has been linked with you in the spirit world before you were born and you will end up running into each other ( the spirit will bring you both together ) . such people were put into your sphere to either kill and destroy you or to complement and bless you.
how does one get rid of it
