Frankrobbn1: It is true that the University of Manitoba is very easy to get without much stress for an undergraduate degree. However, the institution will not offer you a straightforward admission into your choice of program. Generally, you will be given an admission into the University 1 program which will be a prerequisite into your enrollment to your main program. Most times it's a bit dicey to explain to the visa officer about your intent to study and type of program/degree.
With that being said, the University of Regina will grant you a direct admission into a Bachelor's program which gives you the opportunity to be able to explain to the visa officer about your interest in pursuing the program in Canada. To me, this is much more better than a University 1 program. In all, applicants do get approval with it, depending on your explanation to the VO about the prerequisite program.
Please note that the insightful information I share here is based on my first-hand experiences with several institutions both at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
It will end in praise. Thanks a lot sir, I'm just hearing about the university 1 program and I found out it actually true, university of R is bigger than my wallet can you recommend cheaper uni for undergraduate. Any advice on Concordia University of Edmonton? (Tuition:2k+ per term) Thanks. |

Osemigho: Not advisable that you stop schooling as an international student. I believe schools update IRCC on enrollment status every year. I left school to work for about a year, but I was already a permanent resident ad I maintained my student registration. I was able to register because I was done with my coursework and was at my thesis stage. So, what I did was not illegal in any form. In fact, some people drop out of school after getting their permanent residency and it is allowed. Please don’t think of the marriage route to this, the process takes a long time, IRCC is very strict about it and many have been destroyed due to this I approach.
All the best. Thanks, God bless I appreciate |

Anon123: Those agents are lying to you dear.. Immigration will cancel your study permit as you have violated the term of your study permit. I currently know two pple in court with cic on this scenario. Some pple will get away with it though, but when its time to apply for PR and they do their background checks, it will fail. Check you mail Thanks for your advice, are you in Currently in Canada??. I have reply your mail. |

Anon123: Are they currently in school if they have already started classes ,they can't defer the admission cos they have registered for classes. If they are not in school, you can defer your admission as long as you deferred on time before school resumption. The one in USA said he left school after first year and worked all most a year, before he went back. But is it possible to defer and work after I get to Canada .. some agents told me this before these guys. I still wasn't sure that's why I decided to ask. |

Please can someone help me verify this information, 2 friends, 1st studies in the US, the 2nd in Canada, they said after their first year, they deferred their admission (left school for 6months- a year) to work and later went back when their finance was stronger. PLS IS THIS POSSIBLE AND ADVISABLE ?.. Please help a brother... |

Taiwolus: I don't enjoy being controversial, but MUN comes to the lips of people when they talk about cheap programs. And it rightfully should.
It's just funny because 80% of Nigerian students in graduate Engineering programs are paying $29,800 in Tuition. Reason is simple, it is easier to gain admission into these really expensive Programs. Yes, I said it....8 out of every 10 graduate engineering student that is Nigerian and schooling at MUN pays good dollars; and most of us applied because we thought it was cheap.
I am a graduate engineerings student at MUN. Please can you help me break it down, is this for bachelor or Masters program, because the website says 11k/yearly. Please explain |
