Since last year that I bought my 9t, I am dead afraid of updating it because of the deadboot reviews I have been seeing online about the 9t.

Please who among us using 9t have updated his phone and what's the most interesting feature of the new update of 12.5 cos I am still on 12.0.3?
Deadboot issue has nothing to do with updates. If you can successfully restart your phone at will, you have no issues.

And yet Redmi 9c haven't gotten MIUI 12.5/Android 11 update at all. I'm starting to regret buying this phone.
Okay, sorry.

It hasn't been removed for my phone.
I set it back to buttons and it worked.
But with gestures we can't see it.

So how do you explain that?
That is probably your device not all devices on 12.5

Any hope for note 10 pro?
This is suppose be a question that Redmi Note 7 users should be asking not RN10 Pro

So you can't use Split screen with gestures on MIUI 12.5??

If I catch the person whey design this update, dem go collect.

Make I Sha no see am for Agege.
Split screen has nothing to do with gestures. It has just been removed on some devices that's all.

I've been using other devices other than xiomi. Samsung especially. and in as much that there may be false reviews and comments on GSM arena and other sources.. some too are right.. don't say all those comments are actually false or not true or all the people leaving the comments aren't using the devices .. this is just fact.

I actually even knew about the 9t and Poco M3 issues on GSM arena and other sources before getting to see it here on this thread.. Those were the device I wanted to get initially before settling on RN9 because of that series of complaints it has.. and some issues too people are facing similarly on this thread. so you can't say all those comments are false. and it's not just with xiomi brand, same with other brands.
It is Xiaomi not Xiomi. Let us not go into brands that have been used that is going off topic. I didn't start using Android on Xiaomi.

Even the Samsung you made mention of. I used Samsung TouchWiz at it's worst.

Chief, I keep wondering why a particular OS update isn't available at the same time for all phones in a particular OEM's line up. Is that for E.G. Xiaomi will custom build a particular "MIUI 13 based on Android 12" for say RN 10 pro and build another version of the same OS tailor made for say Mi 11 Ultra? and as these different sets of the same OS are built, that's when they are pushed out?
Each device has its ROM. So firmware are built on device basis.
PhonesRe: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 10:38pm On Jan 16, 2022
Meanwhile Xiaomi should do and give us a global release of MIUI 13 and Android 12. My get updates quickly is very much active.

and when did I mention this @bold? this is just what I've observed in xiomi phones reading reviews and people's comments. gsm arena is also there...
And let me break this to you most of those who comment on GSMArena don't actually use the device.

If you follow them a lot you will notice the same set of people on different phone comments with the same train of messages.

I have been using GSMArena since 2010 to know this.

It is quite laughable sha. You just started using Xiaomi yesterday and you are always here on and on about updates.

Let me give you this the software that usually comes with most Xiaomi devices at launch is usually incomplete.

I have Dolby Atmos on my device but did it come with the device at launch no.

So take several seats down. E don they we don dey update our phones.

If you don't want to update your phone fine but don't come out here telling people not to update theirs.

Shalom!

Abeg, I recently switched phones and I'm giving out my Note 8 to my brother.
It has an unlocked bootloader. I have removed my mi account. I plan on factory resetting it.
I hope there won't be any issue using it?
Also sign in to i.mi.com on a browser and delete the phone from your mi account

Please o my people i need help.
I just got Mi 11 lite 5G NE. I was previously using MI A3 and still have it. I just noticed that pictures on my MI A3 is way better than the Mi 11 lite, more vivid, more pleasing to the eyes, and screen display is even better. The display on the Mi 11 lite is dull, The pictures on the Mi 11 lite 5g ne looks washed always, even worse at night. this isn't the case on the Mi A3 which is clear and vivid. To think i was upgrading from my Mi A3. It's driving me nuts. Please what do I do to get better pictures on this device? Every other thing runs smoothly. Please help oooo my head is banging.
Anyone with any solution please?

The Mi A3 screen is not at all close to the NE, I have handled both, infact my cousin still uses the A3.

The pictures on the NE are also better.

You should check your colour scheme and adjust

I left it all through the night only to wake up around 4 am to discover it is still at zero percent.Although I moved the android file in the internal storage to SD card and later moved back to internal storage. But the problem still persists.
Download manually and install simple or use Hotspot

I think this picture will explain everything to you now. This folder only contains 20 movies nothing else. Can you now see it now contains pictures?
And now some of the movies have been moved to another folder.
This is my issue. This goes for all folders. And some folders and files are missing too.

The phone is with me always no one has access to it.
Back up and factory reset then

Please who knows why my Xiaomi stopped receiving updates since September last year while everyone i know using same device have updated up to the latest. Some received updates even last month. I am still at MIUI 12.0.17.0, others with same device have received more than three updates since then and are in MIUI 12.5. The device is Redmi 9T btw.
No one here can answer that question. You can go to your updater and select receive updates early

Seems you didn't get me. My problem is that the files from different folders on both storage are mixed together and some files are missing/hidden.
Use a third party manager and verify this things.
