That would be difficult. Best bet is to try sellers here except you want to drop your phone with Raya pending when they will repair.

And to think I was planning to get a note 10 pro this week. Now I have to make more research before buying my next Xiaomi . Although I'm not good at phones or detecting bugs. Redmi note 7 was perfect for me. Don't know if you also see bugs there

I don't find faults in phones at all. Used redmi note 7 and I loved it but it got stolen so now I want to buy another Xiaomi but an upgrade and something with good value for money like the redmi note 7

Redmi Note 10 Pro. That is what I am currently using.

The Redmi 9t is a budget device and not comparable with RN10 Pro.

He is right and you are wrong. If it won't get MIUI 12 the Chinese ROM won't have gotten the treatment to MIUI 12.

Thanks much. Any idea where to get the tempered glass made for the phone? The one I used was the famous one with the black egde.

Get a plain one next time. Some the black edges can obstruct the proximity sensor if not properly placed.

There are Updates that are prerequisites for a new MIUI Version. So better update your phone.

Just noticed that my device (Redmi note 10 Global Version) is currently on 12.0.3.0 and from the little research i did, this update is for Indian and EEA variants of RN10, weird . Now, i recently received a new update: 12.0.10.0, should i go ahead and update?

Did your phone come with Indian ROM or EEA ROM?

As long as your ROM ends with MIXM, I don't see how the numbering of other variants ROM releases affects you.

BTW RN10 has gotten 12.0.11

A phone that bears one of Samsung's latest E4 AMOLED display for third party OEMs is what you call not so AMOLED.

Even experienced reviewers have praised the display but your own metric of AMOLED is what I don't know.

There are various colour schemes adjust till you get to your own Taste of AMOLED. I for one uses Standard because it is Delta E accurate. Samsung uses Saturated colour scheme on their phones that makes look shouting but it is not colour accurate.

This is my current software version and it solved even the one that was most concerning turn off the display and switching to earpiece while listening to a voice note. And I have also not experienced the dailer proximity issue(which happened not too often initially) since I updated and I have a tempered glass on.

Xiaomi phone using Google Dailer with Google's own proprietary voice recording but it is Xiaomi's fault?

If you don't that is the only reason why EU laws permit recording on phones in the first place. And since Nigeria falls in the MEA region, EU laws on phones affects us.

The WhatsApp vn thingy still happens even after updating to 12.5.3.

It doesn't on my end and for some others. Force restart your phone severally.

The Chinese Rom it is currently running on is messing up my whatsapp and contact app. Whatsapp calls do not wake the phone up. My call history displays numbers instead of contact names for the number saved on my phone. I really need to switch to global Rom asap.

Global ROM is on 12.5 not 12.7 as for this it is not simple steps. You will need to unlock your bootloader and flash the Global Fastboot ROM.

Go to the tweaking thread for steps or hit up Olayinkajnr for guidance.
