Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 12:46pm On Jan 02, 2024 |
Iamsheye: Anyone knows how I can fix this on my Airtel eSIM - Xiaomi 13T RCS doesn't work, VoLTE & VoWifi also You have to enable Volte for VOLTE to work. 1. Enter the string * # * # 86583 # * # * to enable VoLTE. 2. Enter the string * # * # 869434 # * # * to enable VoWIFI. Note when you dial the above codes when the message after dialing shows disabled then you are good and can now see the Volte option in your connectivity menu. If it shows enabled then it means it was already enabled and it is now disabled then you have to dial it again |

Babaalajo: it's showing this update but it won't download the update on my phone, you mean it won't work if i update it manually. This is Android 12 based on MIUI 13 not Android 13. So you have to download this particular ROM first to install manually before upgrading to the next version which should Android 13 and MIUI 14 |

Babaalajo: Please I wan to update my redmi note 11s after skipping like 3-4 update,I'm still on android 11 and since my phone works perfectly I just don't bother about updating.. I just say lemme try the manual updating to miui 14 android 13 but I can't find my phone model that is compatible on miuirom.org to download,my phone model is 2201117SG but the one that closed to it is 2201117SY, I don't know if it will work it before I downloaded it cos the file is 3.7gb.. Are you sure you are checking the right device? You can't jump all the way from 11 to android 13. The chances of it working is very slim. https://miuirom.org/phones/redmi-note-11sThis is your device. Your device is KE SG and SY are the same device. The difference is one has NFC and the other doesn't. |

jelel6: I've successfully unlocked the bootloader. I now get an error message about: your device is corrupt; press power button to continue; Or phone will restart in countdown 5s; Efuse blown: success.
Pressing the power button does nothing. The phone restarts again. That's the new loop I'm in now. You should have followed my advice. You forget that your device uses a MediaTek chipset and the processes aren't as black and white like a Qualcomm chipset |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 3:34pm On Dec 27, 2023 |
jelel6: Yes, the battery was healthy and about 80 percent when it got into the loop.
I've been trying to clear the cache or format the device in fastboot mode. But to do anything advance, I have to pretty much unlock the bootloader. But Xiaomi has tied the unlocking sequence as a feature that can only be enabled as a Developer options through settings when the device is booting normally into the OS.
I'm pretty much stuck at every corner. You can try a service centre. Or contact Igemburg if you are based in Lagos. |

jelel6: Hi Genius and @y'all. My Redmi 9 is stock on a boot loop whereby it will turn on, display the Redmi logo and turn off.
Holding the power and volume down button successful boots into fastboot and won't turn off this time until I manually power it down.
Holding the volume up and down keys together with the power keys boot to the recovery screen where I can select recovery, fastboot and normal boot. But selecting any option apart from the fastboot results in the device turning off and won't come back on.
Any advice and anything else I can do? Is your battery health good prior to this? |

SirNeroDee: OK.. Thanks a lot..
I'm not used to following the unconventional method.. For example, when I see posts with things like "unlock bootloader", I just skip
Do you mind sharing a reliable source where I can find a stable rom for my phone? No were did I say updating manually entails unlocking bootloader. download the ROM in question from miuirom.org. ensure you are downloading the right ROM. Also you ensure downloading with a download manager like 1dm+ or ADM After downloading do the below How to manually update.. Go to Settings > About phone > System update. If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11/12/13 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins Data should be on during the decryption process |

SirNeroDee: Hello.. I need help, please.
About some months ago I tried installing the update, but anytime I try to download it, the download just stops at some point, sometimes @30% sometimes @40%.. I don't even leave the updater screen while downloading, yet the issue persisted. It made me lose interest in installing the update, thinking it was a temporary issue.
But I've recently tried to update and I'm still experiencing the same shit.
It's no longer funny cos I just waste GBs of data for nothing.
Is there are a safe alternative to update my phone? It has been preached here severally if you have a large update and your network is unstable get a link, download manually and install manually. The instructions on how to update manually have been posted on this thread a lot of times. |

Chizip: Redmi k70 There is no confirmation it will be the F6. The K60 that was released in China became F5 Pro with better cameras which the K60 lacked. Redmi Note 12 Turbo became the F5. So there is no certainty that K70 will become Poco F6. |
