Bosses, I just got a new Redmi phone. The battery seems to be draining too fast, lost 6% in about 10 minutes. I have turned off Bluetooth scanning and WiFi scanning. I also switched it off so it can charge till it's full. Anything else I should do?

The phone is still new and I believe you have just started to install apps so give it time to optimise.

Redmi note 9 pro unable to update . miu 12.03 stable, stucked on android 10 and is a global version. Tried recovery and fastboot none seems to be working.

You will need a PC to flash the fast boot ROM. Ensure you backup your files and unlock your bootloader

Depends on where you are buying from. The model number on the carton should serve as a pointer. For Redmi's the Chinese and Global versions don't have the same carton.

MTN is the Culprit. Nothing to do with MIUI. They only just recently gave Samsung VoLTE. It has only been Transsion all these while.

The code activated the VoLTE as menu but it isn't showing on my network bar!
Maybe the miui 12 isn't working with it on Note 7

I just got a replacement battery for my Redmi Note 9s this afternoon after someone was recommended here.... but this is the battery performance I'm experiencing since I fully charged the battery.

Is this normal for a new battery SOT before it gets fully charged from maybe less than 20% cos it's been dormant?? Or it's yet to get in sync??

Drain and charge from 0 percent and observe it.

Dial * # * # 86583 # * # *(Without the spaces). After that, the message " VoLTE Carrier check was disabled " will appear, thus activating VoLTE on our Xiaomi.
Next we will go to Settings> SIM cards and mobile networks
Once inside we will activate the option Use VoLTE .
If our Xiaomi is a Dual SIM smartphone, the VoLTE option will be found in Settings> SIM cards and mobile networks> SIM1 / SIM2.

Please, I'm a first time user of xiaomi product, just bought this redmi 9a brand new to use for few months but I don't understand the phone....

It doesn't support Google play service
It doesn't have Google playstore
The MI app store is written in Chinese
The browser is written in Chinese

Like everything is just in Chinese and I don't understand

Does this mean I can't use Google playstore on the phone?

Why did you go and buy a Chinese Version in the first place and that phone carries a MTK chipsets.

It's been my second phone for years, and aside having to replace the battery, I haven't had any cause to complain.

Recent issue aside, obviously.

State the model. And I can see that the bootloader of this device is already unlocked.

Well, I don't really believe pressing while charging affects battery tho. Spoilt USB caused mine.
Just like eteebanky said, no replacement will be like follow come. Mine no dey charge pass 98% after replacement.

t33why take caution. There are lot of substandard battery being sold on Nairaland. I will advise you order on AliExpress if you can.

A faulty USB Cable spoilt mine. I got a replacement battery from Princekiah and it has held up for over a year and 6 months.
