Recovery. You can't downgrade.

queenfav:
So i had a very interesting conversation today with a friend. She has always been a die hard Samsung edge display fan right from our law school days. She is of the opinion that using any form of covering on the screen of an amoled curved screen device is like a sin.More like buying a beautiful leather chair and covering it with a plastic wrap.Like when and how do you enjoy the beautiful and vivid screen display?

She believes that these screen protectors don't do anything much to enhance the durability of the screen in the case of major drops or preventing scratches since the Corning gorilla glass 5 already does that?

I did a google search and actually saw that a lot of persons advocate against screen protectors on modern phones phones with a Corning gorilla glass protection.

Me I can't shout o,i like having some form of screen protection even though i love the look of my phone screen display without anything on it.However, psychologically,it makes me feel safe knowing my phone screen isn't bare and vulnerable to mild cracks and scuffs.

I know for bad high impact drops to the floor, only Jesus can save you and that phone. Both the tempered glass and the phone screen will shatter.Who else shares the same view as my friend. Will you be comfortable flexing your device without any added screen protector?

More protection is a good thing but if the price of a new display (Amoleds are expensive) is not a problem, do well to flex it without and take your L in peace in the event it happens.

Mustiboy:
Is there away to replace existing Google apps with MIUI apps

Custom MIUI ROMs based on CN ROM, flashing Indian ROM if it exists for your device.

Shedy003:
Who cares about next time.
See black man, u dey feel like u are d source of d rom.

Best way is to backup to Gmail. And restore on your android

callydon:
Na like this u suppose dey behave sinceeeeeeeee..

A long time ago my economics teacher once said "Man Makes Man Wicked".

Time to start my unlocking game.

Mustiboy:
Google apps are ugly. Dialer, Contacts, Messages, Calender, etc.

I hope Xiaomi doesn't bring these fuckery to my device once I update to MIUI 12.

If you want to stick with MIUI Apps stick to buying Chinese Versions with CN ROM or Indian Versions with Indian ROM

Shedy003:
Guy, you suppose to warn the link is for beta ROM and not the stable.
I lost 2G of data to download.
u no try at all wallai.

Wow, so I am to blame now. There wouldn't be a next time.

Please i dont understand. How can i update the phone? It's not up to a year.
And what phone app should i update from playstore?
Thank you very much for the response

Does that mean you have never done any system update(MIUI) since you got your phone?

2. Phone app is the Google Dailer that came with your phone. Go to playstore and check My apps and games and look for the phone app there and update.

3. Post a screenshot of the about phone section of your phone from settings.

Happy Sunday Family

Please everytime I changed my home and lockscreen wallpaper it'll automatically reset to the default wallpaper the next day......What can I do about this?

Do it using the theme app. And also hope you aren't using GA custom Theme?

5ine:
Pls help! Since I updated my redmi 8 to miui11, it doesn't multitask nor hold apps in background, apps restart.

Lock apps you want to hold in memory. But don't it for too many apps because some apps consume over 1GB of your RAM that is why MIUI normally closed them

yourgistpartner:
