Who has been able to update their redmi note 10 pro to the latest update with the manual method?

I downloaded but I've been unable to update it, I keep getting this response

There is an issue with that ROM. Avoid for now.

BOSMANARIS:
Thanks Bro.

Successfully done but another one is this error messages everytime I put on the phone.

What could be done

It is your Mi account trying to verify your phone numbers. Usually N50 for each SMS. You can disable it check the compilation thread below.

BOSMANARIS:

Ive started downloading the file via chrome as I wasn't understanding the 1dm app

Please, 2oukd you mind we 3zchange WhatsApp digits so I can be giving pictorial updates and get better guidelines

I am begging with God's name

The steps up there if followed needs no explanation afterwards. You can send a PM anyway

lovediehatelive:
Thanks for your elaborate explaination.

I understand better now

You are welcome.

BOSMANARIS:
Bro, kindly put me through the process biko

Go to the link below and search your phone and get the Recovery ROM for your device

miuirom.org

Ensure to download with a download manager like 1DM+

Move the ROM to the root of your internal storage after downloading. Then follow the steps below

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11/12/13 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

Please What's the major difference between a note phone and the normal series.

Like

Redmi Note 12
Redmi 12

Also, instead of Note 12, why didn't they just name it Redmi 12A, 12C etc?

To rephrase my question,

What's the difference between phone tags (names?).

For example:

Redmi 9
Redmi 9A
Redmi Note 9

Something of that nature.

Each Manufacturer has a naming scheme for differentiating different classes of phones.

Samsung has the S series for flagship. The M or F series(Market Dependent) for Midrange to Upper Midrange.

The A Series for Entry level to Upper Midrange with A0 to the A7x series.

So does Xiaomi.

Xiaomi 13 series(latest) formally Mi Series For Upper Midrange the 13 lite to the Premium flagship 13 Ultra.

So also they have the Redmi sub brand.
In the Global Market which I will focus on.

The Redmi Note series is the highest catering for the Midrange Segment.

The Redmi series where the Redmi 12 falls in is a budget phone.
Under it the Redmi 12A and 12C are lesser budget devices than the 12 with 12c higher than 12A.

They now have the Entry level Redmi A2 and A2+ to cater for that market.

So the Redmi Note is higher up the ladder than the ordinary Redmi series.

Like

Redmi Note 12
Redmi 12

This question should be in the main thread.

Anyway the Note Series are higher up the chain than the ordinary Redmi series.

Even with the so-called announcement by Alat, some people did testify that they made attempts at payments with their naira card, but were not successful. Read their comments up there!

But you claimed there was no official announcement. Why are you deflecting.

Even before Alat's announcement we already got a hint 2 days before.

Olamak1:
You've really hit the nail on the head! How impatient people could be!
For instance, Is it not too early to even start testing Banks' naira debit card on AliExpress when there was no official announcement from those banks indicating that their cards are now provisioned to work on such platform?
People need to calm down!

Alat sent out a mail and a public announcement. How more official do you want it to be. It didn't stop them from charging 953.08 for a dollar.

xoftxoul:
Thank you sir for your time and response.
is there an explanation on how to go about this?
Thanks

Recalibration can be done using hardware test

The gift card person above should be reported. They will be posting their scams everywhere and once they get a prey they will delete their accounts.

xoftxoul:
Good day guys
Please my friend's Redmi note 10 5G screen will always go off just immediately after dialing a number when he is in a relatively dark place without putting it to his ear.

He has long removed the screen guard.

Please what Is the solution?

Cc genius...43

He should try and recalibrate his proximity sensor or reinstall full ROM.

Lorbar:
Hello people.

My dads redmi note 9s suddenly went off, gave a phone repairer and he was told that the motherboard is damaged/expired. Does redmi motherboard expires?

If no, can anyone please recommend a phone repairer that can fix it? Location is Lagos.

Thanks all.

Meet Igemburg

aieromon:
What bank?

Alat

aieromon:
Rate will always be subject to demand and supply. IOCs are now permitted to sell to banks and the rate will crash as long as the I&E window remains the sole trading platform.

With the way the banks are aggressively pushing for a cut of the FX market share, I fear for the virtual card providers.

This explanation doesn't warrant them charging 953 per dollar this afternoon

BannedUser:
Finally!

The rate is insane

wahalaO:
Either he's confusing Xiaomi 12 with Xiaomi Note 12 — or he's high on colos, even the Camon 20 Premier dey lag behind Xiaomi 12 talkless of the base model 😒

You are also missing it.

There is no phone like Xiaomi Note 12. The last note phone in Xiaomi (mi) series was Xiaomi Mi Note 10 lite in 2020.

Redmi Note are not Xiaomi Note.

Xiaomi Mi series is what was renamed to just Xiaomi and Model number starting from Xiaomi 11T and 11T pro to the most recent Xiaomi 13 Ultra

NamelessOGBENI:
I still dey regret say I buy Camon 20 with almost the same features with Xiaomi 12 last month.

I still dey find how I go take replace am with that Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi sweet o.

Which Xiaomi 12? Because Canon 20 is not remotely close to Xiaomi 12. Don't confuse Redmi Note 12 series with Xiaomi 12 series of last year

Not bad

By the way i have a mi 11 for sale at 190k it's way better than any redmi phone you can think off

This phone problem is something else

Ever since I updated to miui 13 phone trips off anytime, I can't use phone without charger.. I even factory reset the phone thinking the problem would be over but still continue tripping off and it won't boot up itself without connecting charger

The screen also bad, I don't if the screen is responsible for all these.

What you think? Please look into this

Please look into this without him seeing it physically?

From your first statement. Your phone's battery is bad. So you have two components to change

DestinyToRule:
Good evening Xiaomites, pls btw Redmi note 11 and Redmi 12 which one is better... Pls explain to me.... Thanks

You have been here long enough not to know that you shouldn't compare A note series with a Redmi.

And the funny thing is that the RN12 is cheaper and more readily available than the the RN11. So I don't know why you aren't looking at the 12. Just ensure you get a 6/128GB variant at least.

Mrluv:
is spectranet sim working on redmi note 9s.I just bought the sim and data the phone recognize the sim as spectranet but there is no signal.who is using spectranet sim on is redmi note 9s how do you go about it?

Spectranet SIMs don't work on Most Mobile. Get their Mifi or a universal Mifi
