nani667:
There are DSLR XMLs for Gcam everywhere

Not for the Gcam he uses.

It is Redmi 8a and the few ports work on it and they are quite old versions 4 & 5

branham890:
Sorry oh
I could only find few options like lens blur, paranoma(currently is not working for me) and HDR, options like bukeh, beauty etc
I can't find other options, don't know if there is a way to go about it..

Those are the features available for that version and it took lots of research to get it. So manage it. If you had wanted most things out of GCam the Redmi 8 would have been your target not the 8a

branham890:
Please how do I get DSLR. On Gcam or it ain't possible?

This what you are looking for.

Manufacturers include Nikon, Sony, Panasonic/Lumix etc. They are quite expensive

Track24.net

The rate at which phone prices are soaring thanks to the naira rates in the parallel market is alarming.

GreaterFuture1:
They should have resolved these issues in newer units, plus GSM arena says the MTK version has miui 10

How do a smartphone manufacturer fix issues that has to do with a Chipset they don't manufacture?

Gsmarena are not always right. Time after time have proven that.

Shooting the night sky while playing with manual mode. Trying out ASTRO photos without tripod

Xperia xz1c (no edits)

It is good despite the noise levels.

GreaterFuture1:
So MTK chips are Bad, is that you people are saying, cos I wanted to buy the Umi A5 pro (uses MTK) before I got this Note 4x

Newwer releases are not as bad but are they as good as SD, no.

branham890:
shot with redmi 8a
edited with Snapseed

please rate it

the picture ain't showing what do I do??

It didn't load because it is too large. Download photo and picture resizer from playstore. When resizing choose 75%

busuyi44:
Genius443 I saw Mi A2,A2 lite, A3 in d lists. How come?

Definitely not an official list or an omission from an over-zealous blogger because those are android one devices

branham890:
thanks, it worked

how about fonts
no vex abeg

Change your region to India, go to theme app, look for a font of your choice, download and apply. Then change region back to Nigeria.

No vex oo.

To be honest I like the first edit. Sometimes in try to make colour pop it loses a serene feel.

branham890:
yea!!! thank you
though na low specs(2/32)but still Ok

The processor(engine) on that device is better than some people's Flagship. So it is not as bad as it seems a friend of mine owns exactly your configuration and people hardly believe that it is a 2Gb Ram phone because of how smooth it runs

branham890:
thanks to Genius and others for the recommendation, currently enjoying my redmi 8a

You are welcome.

It is good you have had a personal experience of a Xiaomi device, we don't hype what we don't know here.

nelsonebby:
