I thought the general believe is against this? What we have been led to believe all along is, you must charge the battery upon receiving or purchasing to enhance battery performance and longevity. Hope this move is still okay and serve the same purpose?

But it has been an advice and it has always been a matter of choice.

i know Redmi 6a runs on Helio A22... Do you have any app crashes or lag when using your Gcam? And if not could you share the link to download it...

He said Cam not GCam o. It is Redmi 6 I knew had a GCam that worked with it.

I will suggest you wait for RN9s the Samsung GM2 is actually very good from samples I have seen. And I won't really advise on RN7 Pro at this stage.

Photography is not always about the sensor, If you can't take good pictures, even the 108Mp sensor will look inferior.

The talk of GCam working shouldn't be a question. I clearly stated that RN8 and it use the same camera and processor so you should know the GCam that works on one will work on the other.

Redmi Note 8T(released for the European market) - Presence of Glo Band 28, NFC, 18W Charger out of the box, No Notification LED, longer frame meaning RN8 accessories are not a perfect fit

Redmi Note 8 - anything present I listed for the 8T but it has a notification LED. It still supports 18W charging but you have to buy it separately.

Aside that they house the same hardware in terms of cameras and processor
