Redmi said they will be focusing on 5G for the Chinese market. That is why Redmi Note 9s/Pro/Pro Max wasn't released in China

You should try shooting in the two aspect ratio from the same position and compare both.

Manufacturer does it to hype the phone.
Chip maker/Manufacturer=Win win....
Consumer=win/loose.... Depends on the way you see it

It is the chipmaker and it seems manufacturers have noticed it. Think why will Realme put SD 720G on the pro version despite the G90T posting better benchmark scores than the 720G

It is not a manufacturer decision, it is a chip manufacturer thing. Mediatek are desperate to win market shares and desperate times calls for desperate measures.

No need defending Mediatek. If Samsung were not caught early enough with the Exynos version of Galaxy S4 they would have continued. Huawei too were caught cheating with the Kirin 980 and it was traced down to the 970

Hi fellow Xiaomite, Pls i am planning to change my phone but i am torn between redmi note 8 and the note 9s, i love virtually everything about the note 8 design, note 9s on the other hand , i know its going to pack some of the latest technologies but i dont like the curved back and i feel the screen will be too big for me coupled with the fact that its not available yet. The performance difference between the RN8 and RN9s is wide. And the RN9s will soon be released in Nigeria if we go by the teasers from Xiaomi Nigeria social media pages

one thing though: looks like blackshark doesn't have band 28 support. If u rely on glo and ure not in an area with excellent band 3 coverage... that may be a huge problem

Sorry boss in your honest opinion I'm stuck between this two , realme x2 pro and the xiaomi black shark 2

I love the better processor and 50watt or volt fast charging in the x2 pro
But
I prefer the design of this more ( those sick lights )

I intend getting one asap , I just need an unbiased opinion

Like I said the Black Shark bis a Gaming Centric device. Go for the X2 Pro and try to go for the Global Version.

Their designs are too generic , and moreover I don't think there's anything wrong with me using a blazing fast phone and theres a feature I saw where you can connect it to the PC and use the gaming accessories to play Android games on PC

Oneplus 7T and 7T Pro are also there. Oxygen OS is closer to stock than any other custom OS

If I have that much I'd go for a Samsung s10 , I just want something cool within a budget , something blazing fast that looks really eye popping , I'm not a gamer , the only game I have on my phone as I speak is that asphalt nitro that comes with infinix phones ( though I use a pixel phone ) and I only play it when I'm out of data or at a place where there's poor cell reception , but I really appreciate your suggestions

If you are not a gamer the Black Shark isn't for you because it was meant for gaming. Consider the Xiaomi Mi 9 or Mi 10T Pro

3 they say it has a skin called joy u.i , and it is pretty close to stock Android, I wanna know if it has the , multi user function on Google pixel phones ( current device ) , or it has a secure or hidden tab like the ones they say is found on other xiaomi devices .

Please your contributions will really be appreciated.

2. It is a gaming and the cooling system is expected to bump up it's weight

3. It uses Joy UI but since I haven't used it, I can't say anything about that aspect, even if it is close to stock certain features will differentiate it from stock.

But if you can while not get a newer variant like Black Shark 2 Pro or The Black Shark 3 series
