Sure, if phones of two years ago are getting it, why won't a new phone get it. It's time have not come. Even it's senior brothers in the Redmi 8 series haven't gotten yet

av been having issues downloading updates via OTA.

It has never been successful with error below.

My device is global version and i hv re downloaded 3 different times, same error.

You are supposed to be downloading MIUI11 and not incremental for 10.

Download full latest ROM and install manually. Is the phone new or you are among some who hardly update their phone.

There is a guide some pages back on how to update manually, locate it and follow it.

Glo band 3 is starting to spread I guess.

Device: Redmi 7a

Location: Ajao Estate, Airport road Lagos.

The signal is very good from Apapa area to the island.

Where I am in Lekki I get download speeds upto 5MBps on band 3

It is compatible with Glo 4G if you are in areas with Band 3. that is what I am using currently.

But for band 28 we have Mi 9 Global Version, Mi 9T and Mi 9T pro, Mi 9 lite, Mi A3, Redmi Note 8 Pro. Mi Note 10

My dear the day i changed my Rn5 screen i was looking for a matching full screen guard for my phone so someone introduced the nano liquid screen protector, being that i wanted the best cos I don't need any scratches again i went for it at the price of 3k. After applying it i still put screen guard but it didn't cover the front camera.
Then after like a week i saw a crake on my phone and the funny part is its on the front camera that the screen guard did not cover. Now am asking wasn't the nano screen protector supposed to protect it. Am sad cos i can't even use my front camera, am even considering changing the screen again thereby making it the 3rd time i will do that.

For me e no work oo.

My opinion though

The Infinix Hot 6 tempered glass is compatible with RN5.

What we do is order for spare of these things and keep for times like this.

You are welcome. Currently on MIUI 11. It's been good so far, the phone is still adjusting to the new ROM

just checked the updater app now and now the update package is 1.7gb

This is the full ROM, sometimes it is better than incremental

I successfully downloaded the rim package via OTA, decryption was successfully then I was got a prompt to reboot my phone which I did but got an error "install update zip Failed" error applying update.

NB: My device is Unlocked but not rooted.

I rebooted my device again and saw the attached image

Clear updater app cache and try to download afresh again.

The sun these days in Lagos is close to fire. There's no way your phone will not get warm from usage. The temperature affects your phone too. That's why you phone rarely gets warm in cold environments like when you're in an AC filled room or it is raining. All these have its effects on your mobile phone regardless of the brand.

On site yesterday I almost drank half bag of water. The heat is terrible.
