hello guys please I need advice from people that have been using redmi, I have budget 50k to get my self the phone, the main reason I want the phone is cos of its camera that is gcam and stock my question is the gcam of all the phone the same picture quality or it varies according to how expensive.

The better the sensor especially in the mid-range, the better the camera outputs in both Stock and GCam. So if you can up your budget a little I suggest you get the Redmi Note 8 rather than the Redmi 8.

Tho SD439 clocks at 2GHz with 12nm while SD 632, clocks at 1.8GHz with 14nm..though it may seem like nothing but the speed processor of 12nm compare to 14nm matters slot.. Check out the antutu test

You only talk about the 4 cores and ignored the other 4 cores.

Now the 632 has 1.8Ghz on 4 big cores and 1.8Ghz on the 4 smaller cores while the 439 has 1.95GHz(I like been exact and not approximate like you did up there) on it's big cores and 1.45Ghz on it's small cores meaning when the big-little(Don't know if you know of this) process kicks in the 439 will run far slower than the 632.

As for Process the 14nm Vs 12nm just has to do with efficiency like power management not power. E.g SD 660 on 14nm is more powerful than the 11nm SD 665 but the 665 is more power efficient.

But do you know that when the big cores of the 632 is running since the clock speed then is lower than the 439 it conserves battery better despite it been 14nm and the other 12nm

Same thing happened between the SD 730 Vs 855 that is why the 730 consumes lesser battery despite it is 8nm and 855 7nm.

All these things are more technical than just paperwork.

Bro the differences between 632 Vs 439 are not minimal from the grand scheme of things from both the heavy usage and normal usage.

The network card download speed or the 439 can't surpass 150Mbps downloads and 75Mbps uplink but the SD 632 doubles that and the SD 636 Doubles the downlink of the 632 making 600Mbps.(The network card on the RN5 is better than the R7, tested this side by side).

In the grand scheme of things 200MHz difference in GPU speed between the SD 632 and SD 439 is a lot.

Just my one cent.

Redmi 8 uses snapdragon 439, compared to Redmi 7 which uses 632 an even an older Redmi 5 which uses 450. Is this a problem guys or are the differences negligible?

Sometimes performance of an SD processor is not by naming scheme.

In the grand scheme of things according to performance of the above listed processors is as follows SD 632>439>450.

But if you are not a heavy gamer or user, I suggest you go for the Redmi 8

I'm not a fan of pop-up camera and I like the IR and headphones jack.

Mi 9T comes with a headphone jack and the pop-up camera is very durable but what do I know. Personally I can't compromise better Chipset and cameras because of an IR BLASTER
