I don't think there is a GCam for it. I always say get your priorities right before you choose your next device. If GCam was a priority you would have verified first. Not all OEMs allow bootloader unlocking or giving priviledges to unlock Camera2api.

I checked XDA and they don't even have your device listed meaning dev support is little or nothing.

Don't confuse yourself with camera modes. The Redmi Note 7 has a 48Mp main camera and 5Mp depth sensor. The camera basically shoots pictures in 12Mp and you might end up never using the 48Mp mode.
