Please guys, make una help me o. I received an update of security patch yesterday morning and I updated it. Just this evening my phone started misbehaving. By merely touching the power button, the screen will lock and if I mistakenly touch it multiple times, it will dial SOS call. Also touching it multiple times can sometimes make it restart and hang before coming up again.

whereas before the update, this is how my phone works...
I need to push the power button before the screen can lock, and touch the power button to unlock it and it does not lag but now it is different o.

Please make una help me because I am thinking maybe I should factory reset but I really don't want to do that. Thanks

How good is the Miui update attached to this post? Can I proceed to update my phone from android version 10 that I have had since last year I bought my Redmi note 9s?

I am concerned about the possible effect on the battery and general functionality of the device. If anyone has had any ugly experience with this upgrade, please let them quote me so I don't make a costly mistake.

I've always had issues browsing with 4G on my redmi 9 using MTN but 3G works without problems and same 4G works with other phones pretty well and no issues, don't know what to do because I've done factory reset already. Do you have any idea about this problem?

you should activate your mi account... backup your stuffs to your Google account when due.... get an sd card.. activate find my device (a Google app)... these are just my suggestions..

I think genius or atheist will have more ideas to give you on securing your phone...

Updated few weeks ago to 13.0.12 via OTA. Guess that's what affected it, although I just noticed the issue.

Yes I've tried it in 3G mode and it's up to date. I believe it's because I upgraded the my miui. Some people are also complaining online and the solution seems is restoring factory settings according to some users. It is caused by bugs in the new update. I don't want to lose files that's why I'm scared of doing factory settings. If I can't downgrade to miui 12.5, I won't mind.
I would attach screenshot of other users complaining of same.

Good evening everyone, noticed that since few days ago, maybe due to the miui update I did,I can't dial USSD code on my phone. Anytime I do that, my sin network goes off completely. Been googling stuffs and I saw some redmi users complain the same issue saying it's due to a bug.
