TheControversy:
I've tried, this is all I see. I've changed my region to India too

You don't need to change your region to use dark mode. Maybe the version of MIUI you are running doesn't have it. Update your device if there is any outstanding update.

henry007:
So I have the same issue with the selfie camera of this one too. The face retouching doesn't work

This is the first mod, more should fix them with time.

Elxandre:
The phone is getting cheaper sha.

Just noticed no band 20. Ahn ahn.

That is because it is Chinese version. Band 20, 8 and probably band 28 should be present on the Global Version (Mi 9t pro) launching today

henry007:
I would only post selfies after the real GCAM Mod comes coz this one is making me ugly fa

jinka:
wow! thanks for the explanation. now I know better

That's why I always advice you leave the SIM you are not using for data on 2G

itunity007:
I also want the Chinese rom

You can order the Sealed CN VERSION on AliExpress from sellers that sell the global ROM version( Not Global Version) or you ask Noobody to help you place an order

Adegbem01:
Please I need personal opinion to make up my mind, I have budget for the range for pocof1(6gb 64gb internal) or rn7 pro (6gb 128gb) which do you guys think is best in a general sense of comparism, the price is kind of same on alie

If you are into performance go for the Pocophone but if you are into camera and aesthetics, the RN7 pro is your bae

jinka:
bro abeg if you understand, explain to me

Radio in these case means your network. Like I always say if you pay close attention when your network is bad or fluctuating, your pumps more battery power to your radio(phones antennae) to re-establish connection hence you experience more battery drain. So sometimes your phone is not to blame for battery consumption but network operators.

Also if you stay in a location where two mast signals intersect sorry for your phones battery will drain faster

b0y:
Good morning guys,

Sincere apologies if my post derails the objective of this thread. But my xiaomi redmi 4X screen got shattered yesterday. Please can anyone be nice enough to direct me on how and where to fix this?

First of all order the screen from AliExpress or ask sellers like Noobody to help you order a good screen and take it to any good repairer to change it for you.

Joohan:
Please, which store can i get Redmi Note 7 3gb/32.

And is there any pro in shipping it from Aliexpress, Same as Jumia.

Has anyone gotten the RN 7 3gb from Pointek before and is it the global or the Chinese rom.

Please answer ASAP

All Xiaomi sold officially in Nigeria are all Global Versions. Nobody have gotten a Chinese version from Pointek, Raya, and even the official channel on Jumia

elantraceey:
The second one refused to install on my phone, keeps saying app not installed.

Sorry about that, stick with the first one then.

priceaction:
Gptech, acekid109, genius43, maceyland and friends, any help. Small video records, big space consumed even putting it in the least recording format.

That's how video recordings are. Audio is usually the culprit, the better the audio quality of a video the higher the size.

Kishkosh:
@gptech , pls help me out here sir

It is preference, there is nothing unstable with MIUI. MIUI is one of the best android skins out there.

lordchiz:
I even prefer my former RN7 pro GCam to this new one I installed....the bsg type!

Are you using Redmi Note 7 or Note 7 pro? They are two different devices entirely.

lordchiz:
Plz which one is d best n recent

They are both recent from both modders but BSG seems to be most preferable. You can try both out and give a review.

gideonak:
Gcam not installed on RN7. Any solution or suggestions?

Why not installed?
GCam is not a default application.
Try any of these

Amazon on the move.....

Excerpt:

It's important that we differentiate between most valuable brand and largest company by market cap. Microsoft is currently the biggest company, in terms of its market cap, at around $1,016B, followed by Amazon's $916B, Apple's $751B and Google's Alphabet at $750B.

GTA 5 dope hmmm have watched several videos of GTA 6 mehn graphics bloody die

But GTA 6 is yet to come out na. No release date have even been set.

For good open world games the watchdogs 3 : Legion as teased at E3 2019 is one to watch out for if you are a PC or Console Gamer

precadel:
about to get redmi note 7 I hope o won't regret it as this is my first xiaomi phone....ppl v been making no nothing abt d phone and are telling me what if it develops fault where will I take it to. pls if d phone develops fault will I have to order online for parts like the other guys DAT have

Faults are not common, and if you have been following Xiaomi you should be aware of them making known their presence officially in the Nigerian market and have promised to provide aftersales services on due course. So there is nothing to fear. People used Tecno and co when parts were very hard to source especially display, in this case there are alot of alternatives to source for parts.

Mizik:
Can i get the link to the best Gcam on the Rn7

The gcam i have is not better than the stock camera

I posted two links to two different mods this morning check them out

Elldeb:
Please does anyone here sell xiaomi mi 8 tempered glass?....and how much?

I doubt if anyone has it in stock, except a user who has spare tempered glass, your best bet is AliExpress.

Mustiboy:
oh thanks.
I actually downloaded the premium version for free. I thought the official version would have some restrictions.

No problem. The premium will be on a trial for some days. So enjoy it while you can but the free version works just fine.

You can customise the player and it works without disturbing other processes. You will get a hang of it with time.

Mustiboy:
I've seen it, and it worked. Thank you very much.

I've downloaded the Media Monkey App, but it has failed to extract; perhaps, it is corrupted.

Where did you download yours?

From the following

Healthwatch and Amazfit 2

Debroslink:
Please, which one is better between BSG's version and Bulkin's version?

I have not used any but BSG is renowned modder

fibonacci2526:
Congrats. Happy for you.

People can now appreciate what this thread stand for.

Lovexme:
Any major advantage over the global ROM?

I havn't been able to download a working google store app.

Search for GAPPs or go to to the Mi Store and search Google.

Chinese ROM gets update and new features first. The only downside is inability to use themes

Lovexme:
RN5 is back! All thanks to Acekid109. You deserve plenty accolades.

Now the small problem of installing a global rom (currently running Chinese rom).

Stick with the Chinese ROM for now

macbeyland:
Seems this note 5 pie rom has some bugs on some note 5

Yes it does but this dual band WiFi thing is general. For now on pie you can't use Both Hotspot and WiFi on Redmi Note 5

muyibabs:
What's the difference between these two?

Different Modders, haven't used any. The first one is by BSG and the other by Bulkin.

I only help people with links to GCam I use neither Gcam or RN7
