nabeans: I got OTA software update notification on my Redmi Note 5 ai (China ROM). I think it was for update to Pie. After downloading from a strong WiFi network, I installed and immediately after, my screen started flickering off and on like every 2/3 seconds. Can't even open beyond desktop and it flickers off back to lock screen. What to do?? Try to backup your files and do a factory reset |

Sandyyy: Good morning all, please I need your assistance. Just noticed that my data connection goes off when I turn on my hotspot, I really don't know what is happening. I'm using a Redmi Note 5. It's a issue with the new Android 9 update. Seems the feature on MIUI clashes with android's kernels. Hopefully subsequent updates will fix it |

Mizik: not much. Brighness was at medium. Honestly I'm feeling disappointed. I updated it on Saturday How do i disable WiFi, Bluetooth scanning Search for it from settings. Taking photos consumes battery though. The battery life will get better. Also leave the SIM you are not using for data on 2G |

Mizik: Hello guys. I'm not satisfied with the battery life of the RN7 at all. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning. Was your brightness full throughout this period? If you just updated the device give it a little while to adjust. How many pictures did you take with your phone, because camera is a large consumer of battery |

Xionez: Lolz. Some singles are just that...singles. They are often not included in the final album but that depends on the number of "Listens" it gets on streaming services. There are some other cases such as "Said - Nasty C & Runtown" was a hit but wasn't featured in either of their albums to the best of my knowledge. The annoying part is when its included in the album but the tempo, artists singing sequence or beat is changed to one lame-as-fok version. Very true, and it is very peculiar to hip-hop, drop a lot of singles and probably one will make the album. |

Mustiboy: All my songs are perfectly tagged, as I listen to music according to album. I don't enjoy listening to just singles.
If an artist drops a single for an upcoming album, I won't download the song; I will rather wait till the album is released and in the meantime, listen to the song on YouTube or Spotify.
And Yes, I use Automag; it's my best tag editor. I don't have a problem with my songs' tags even on PC. The PC media players display their tags excellently It's just editing every song name's tag that is tedious. Have you tried MediaMonkey yet. If you do let me know |

I don't plan on flashing Global ROM on this guy. I've not encountered any issues so far and there's nothing i'm particularly missing. Enjoy your device bro. The Chinese ROM is not bad at all, that's what my pops is currently using on his RN7. |

Mustiboy: I once used a tag app(don't remember its name) on PC to edit my songs, and it ended up corrupting the songs; hence, mobile tag apps are my best bet.
I'll try the Monkey Media app out. Try it you won't regret. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 1:00pm On Jun 10, 2019 |
Mustiboy: all my songs are in their designated album folders.
Editing tags is not as easy as you made it sound. Yes, you can collectively edit album art and name for every song in an album as long as it is in a designated folder, but the real work involves having to edit the the song name and artist name of every song in that folder.
Most of the songs downloaded online come with wrong tags; therefore, only album art, album name, album artist (not the same as song artist), year, and genre can be edited with tag editing apps. You will have to manually input the song name and artist name of each song yourself.
I have 199 songs by Trey Songz. It took me over 3 hours to edit the song names and artist name(I had to copy-and-paste for the artist name since it's just Trey Songz to be filled in each space). If you say time consuming yes but definitely not hard. On PC I use Media Monkey for editing tags. |

fantilopezzy: heard it's same with k20 watched it duh The differences between K20 and K20 pro are just these 1. Snapdragon 730 Vs 855 2. 48Mp Sensor IMX 582 Vs IMX 586 3. Charging pegged to 18w by OEM Vs 27w on the pro. 4. Memory options Every other thing is the same. |
