Mizik: is this the settings for turning off the wifi scanning? As for the 2G use *#*#4636#*#* but you can still do it under SIM cards by selecting the unused SIM preferred network type and select 2G only. See SS for WiFi scanning

Mizik: Here's my sot..light usage From your battery graph it is still evident that you have WiFi and Bluetooth scanning still turned on. Goto settings if you don't know where they are use the search pane in settings and turn them off. Secondly I will always repeat any SIM you are not using to browse should be left on 2G to reduce battery drain. Lastly, keep your screen brightness as minimum as possible. You don't expect your battery to give you 10 hours SOT even with light usage when your screen is on Maximum brightness. |

donprosper6: Those using miui 10 and Android pie on redmi 6 pro.. is the battery still the same with miui 9? And who have noticed that Redmi 6 pro battery lasts a bit longer than RN7's? You have to account for the smaller display on your Redmi 6 pro |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 6:24pm On Jun 13, 2019 |
fibonacci2526: Of course the redmi 6 pro battery will last longer than that of the note 7 as sd625 is more power efficient than the sd660. And also a smaller display |

Braket: Guys I need your help here in making a decision.
I had wanted to get a Xiaomi phone since the note 7 and note 7pro came out but due to the fact that note 7pro wasn't made for international market, I chilled and waited for their next device.
Now k20 and k20pro is here again and yet the pro version didn't make it to international market again.
The reason why I am particular about the international version is because I leave in Germany and it would be nice to have something made specifically for international markets.
I am finding it difficult to compromise and go for the k20 (Mi 9T) because of the processor and how to is much behind it's pro version but since it was made for the international market, it has band 20 that the Chinese k20pro is lacking Which is kinda a big deal here in Europe for 4G network tho I can still compromise.
Should I go for the Chinese k20pro or the global k20?
If I go for the k20pro what are the things I should be expecting in terms of software. Can I port to a global rom or i will be stocked with the endless Chinese ads?
Or better still, which other brand will you recommend that is Huawei or OnePlus? Trying to ignore Huawei because of this their porting from Android.
Kindly help me in my decision making. If battery is not a big deal the Mi 9 global version got you covered. If your budget is larger then the OnePlus 7/7pro should be looked at as well |

One thing I must say is that you should be prepared for whatever outcome any time you decide to shop online especially out of the country. For instance if you had ordered a car and it arrives the country and you are faced with the new clearing rate will you abandon the car? |

noblefarm: Am really concern over the many complains one is seeing here about this redmi phones. I don't want what I'll buy with hard earned money and regret it later How many complains have you seen? Oga the pros out weigh the complains. People have used these phones for years without issues. There are people on this thread still using their Redmi Note 4x of 2017. I even have a friend that is still using his Redmi Note 3 pro special edition of 2016. The phones are durable. |

We are complaining of customs fees trust me it is worse abroad. Because those countries want to force their people to patronise local markets. |
