I was on 3g recently on my device , and I got just 7 hours, from 98 percent to 0, am afraid oh cause, i don't use my WiFi only browsing and gaming

If 3G network is unstable battery life will be affected.
Screen brightness is another parameter to monitor when using your phone to get more juice out of your battery.

But do you know using Wi-fi conserves more battery. I would recommend getting a Mi-Fi if you can afford it.

If you just got the device disable WiFi Scanning, update if there is any pending system update.

Also check your battery graph poor network is rampant these days and it is reducing battery performance

1. I pick the Redmi K20 Pro over the Mi 9.

The bigger battery is a big plus for me as well as the headphone jack. Take it or leave it a traditional headphone jack still produces better output than Bluetooth or wireless. I hardly use my IR blaster so I wouldn't notice it's absence. Wireless charging is a thing but the fast charger on the K20 Pro is ok for me.

Xiaomi landed at our doorstep and a thread that is supposed to help the newbies get to know their phones better has now become a thread where insults are hurled at people without a moment's thought.
Even people with good SOTs will still come and say the SOT isn't enough.

And all... We need our thread back.
One can't come to this thread since late last month and not see insults here and there as if we can't make our points without resulting to insults...


Sometimes I would want to contribute but I realise it isn't worth it in the end.

It is painful what it has turned into. A thread that was known for been organized to an extent. There was also a kind of togetherness. This thread was a family on it's own. Lei Jun only decided to help Nigerians and it unleashed some kind of characters into our midst.

A new comer would find it hard to fathom the purpose and essence of the thread.

How funny the voices and insensitivity of a few drowns voice of reason of many.

Tips

Don't leave both Sims on 4G. The SIM you don't use for data should remain on 2G.

I don't experience such on my phone.

Try reflashing the ROM

He is not a first time user of Xiaomi, so he is in an authority to say that. Xiaomi fixes issues with OTA updates.

You don't own a Mi phone so you are not in any position to say that.

Your network is terrible (look at those brown bars). I just said this yesterday evening poor network is not good for battery be it android or torchlight phone.

Another change the SIM you are not using to browse to 2G.

I have links but to keep on resending links, one risk ban. In trying to help people with GCam links I got banned three times in a single day why the anti-spam bot sees it as spamming.

All these can be avoided if people try to go back a little and catch up with happenings. If their problem have not been treated in a day or two then they can now ask.
