shedy03: I needed new font styles, but all apps I downloaded and tried do not work. I wanted to swap the back/recent navigation keys, all I means I searched confirmed stock Android won't allow. As for font, you must root your phone. That's one advantage of MIUI |

Dam5reey: Guys using Redmi 7 and Note 7 should all report they need band 28a cos of Glo, update on global version might unlock it.
My phone constantly switch between Band 7 and 20 MTN, how do I lock to 20 in order to save battery? On MTK yes, engineering mode. Don't know of Snapdragon. But the best solution is to know where the signal is the strongest and use the 4G at that point. |

The size of each update is stated there. Nothing technical when it comes to OTA just ensure your device is charged download and install |

Kakashiii: I wonder why people keep saying this. I have two memory cards (one 16gb and another 32gb). I've been using them since 2012 (I know it's hard to believe) without having any loss of files.
I still like memory cards, not because of the extra storage, but because of file safety. I know how many times my memory card has saved me when I didn't have my laptop with me (cos I backup my most important files on my laptop and external hard disk for redundancy purposes) plus when my phone battery was flat, even when my phone had issues.
I just pulled out my memory card and collected the files I needed and continued with my work.
Buying quality matters also. Well, I might not understand cos I've not been in you guys' shoes. Maybe, your memory card too was a quality one, I don't know. Good morning I have a hard drive 750Gb that have not been formatted since 2013 but I have had a lot of phones stolen with SD Cards on them. That's why I mentioned OTG( lot of phones support that these days) and Cloud Storage. Flash drives are easier to keep than SD cards |

This is one big problem with electrical and electronic stuff. Hehehehehe, Electronics is a very vast field, that's why I lean towards power and machines |

fibonacci2526: If not for the little difference in the pricing of the 64 and 128gb variant, I would be leaning towards the 64gb . Don't store much on my phone as well when I have an OTG drive that can take care of my large files and all Gbam. Who still prioritise SD Card these days, when you have to spend extra bucks to get an SD Card whose speed matches with the speed of your internal storage to prevent slowing down your phone. |

Born2smile: According to Hong-Kong Goldway store on Aliexpress, redmi 7 global version has band 28 support. The Aliexpress item description is one of the most reliable sources of product specifications out there. A friend bought from that store still no Glo 4G |

Born2smile: I just hope the band 28 is different from the one in redmi go. The one in redmi go doesn't support glo 4G. Exactly, I told someone on this thread and there was an argument. The Redmi Go I bought for my sister doesn't support Glo 4G despite it been listed. It reminded me of the Camon Cx Air o used. Probably the device only have band 28a activated and not Band 28a/b since Glo uses band 28b |

Nigg3369: Guys look at me dying, saving and waiting for the k20 pro just to find out it might notbhave expandable storage. If it doesn't have I'll take the Lenovo z6 pro That is not a deal breaker for me anyway, when you can lose all your data on an SD card with a blink of an eye. I use an OTG flash these days for back up, then transfer to a hard drive I use to store personal files. The very important ones, cloud is there. 128Gb internal memory is ok for me |
