So having gone thru the last few pages I observe that nobody has highlighted some notable changes made on the latest MIUI 10.2.1.0 update.

Those that hate to see your notification panels on your home screen like me lei Jun has heard our cry grin (where's that guy running his mouth last month on this issue angry)

Animation while the phone is undergoing an update is now better with numbers and percentages of the work now showing

Most noticeable is this screenshot, more options in the multitask tab kiss

More discoveries to follow, who say MIUI no sweet? tongue
I did point out some changes though the RN5 has a different arrangement

Same issues. My major problem is the notch that hides notifications and battery drain.

I tried downloading Google Camera from Playstore but it's not for my device. @Mrviktor, please more details on the update. I am still on MIUI 9.6
Update your device to MiUI 10.2.1.0.

Besides several factors can affect battery backup. The biggest is poor network coverage.

Gcam is a different ball game, I suggest you use your device as it is.

Hi guys. I've been using the redmi note 6 pro now and it has been awesome. There's been some aspects i'm yet to flow with and any help would be appreciated.
I expected my battery to last me a day but it barely does so even on moderate usage(i dont even game)
I'm also having problems with minimizing some apps. They tend to restart once i revisit them(eg UC browser) instead of remaining "paused".
I can't find any means to hide apps or pictures; plus i wonder if there's a faster way of splitting the screen?
And i want to uprage my camera via gcam. Is there anyone that can be of assistance?
Thanks in advance
Update your device to the current MIUI version for the battery drain issue.

You can also post screenshots of your power usage and your Screen on Time(SOT)

Thanks for the reply.

Are they brand new?
Do they meet the criteria I listed above?
Pls what's the difference between the Note 6 pro, and the Mi Max 3?
Finally, what's your location?

(Meanwhile, let me quickly do some quick research on the 2 models you mentioned).
As for your criteria they meet them to the fullest.

Guys pls, where can I buy original Xiaomi phones physically in Lagos?
I really can't wait for the duration of ordering online, as my main phone is really misbehaving, and I need to change it today.
I've checked SLOT, MicroStation and 3CHub in Computer Village like 3 days ago, and they all don't have it.
And I couldn't buy from any random shop in Computer Village cos I don't trust those guys one bit.
Where can I buy one physically TODAY?

Also, which Xiaomi phone would you advise I buy?
My most important needs are super-fast speed, LOOONG battery life (I can't be charging phones everyday because of my work), and top notch reliability (don't need any issues with the phone hanging on apps or other funny behaviours).

My budget is around 100k, can be flexible and go slightly above if really necessary, but the cheaper the better, as long as its top notch quality.

Abeg answers needed ASAP.

Yeah I have that here too, but the one beside the battery indicator (graphics option) when you drag down the notification panel is what I miss so much
I know what you mean. But the earlier post was leaning to the fact that the battery percentage was removed entirely

Mrviktor:
Battery Is better... But it charges a lil bit slower like 3 miutes lesser than what it usually was to add in %...

Also they removed battery percentage from the notification panel... Very foolish of them. So now u have to change your battery icon to the one that shows how many percent is remaining... Mthewww.

It has carry to wake up feature.. so u no need to press power button to make the screen come on.. this would make faceunlock- to be usefull...bks time u will use to press power button u Don use am touch d fingerprint scanner..

Also,. E smooth Sha...
In Redmi Note 5 the battery percentage is inside the battery icon.

I don't know why it's hard to follow simple resolutions. If data vendors are complying, I wonder why it is difficult for my repair to do same.

Is the battery draining fast? Is the update worth it? Im yet to update cos I'm scared of battery drain.
From his post, I guess he meant the battery backup is better, no drain feel free to update.

Please any response to this question?
It's best you should be the patient reasons:

1. As per every new device, the price is not yet stable on AliExpress because it is still on presale/ preorder even the sellers don't have the Device in their hands now to fulfill.

2. There is no Global Version or ROM for that device yet except you have no issues with the Chinese ROM.

All in all am saying you should wait for a while before buying.

Lol... You are wrong, they may not generate as much as Home theatre systems but sound bars can hold their own. The best in the sound bar series and possibly sound systems in general is Bose sound systems... After this comes Sony. grin grin grin. Sound bars can blow your roof off.... Mine is extremely sound.. with only one wireless Sub woofer.
In terms of sound systems, Bose, B&O, Harman & Kardon (A Samsung subsidiary), Sony, Samsung and LG.

My friends Bose is out of this world but the price... All I can say is hmmmm

why will a supposed reveiwer be this parochial, God! Attributing the hanging media files with MIUI is ridiculous. I experience same with op6 too, even light files like images hangs and never delivers. Someone should tell me op6 runs on MIUI too please. I suspect android 9 because my other phones on android 8 even with lower processors don't experience such.
Little research to be confident of what they say, they won't do. Lazy bones.

If you are complaining of Xiaomi what will you say about Honor/Huawei who are their major competitor these days?

Honor/Huawei are always in the news about a new device every other week
