I don't want to start another Matic debate but I don't know what you're watching. If Matic on the ball is torture, Bakayoko is suicide. If you don't know, Matic is the one who comes to receive the ball in Chelsea midfield. His passing has always been good, his receiving and protection of the ball also. Passing is recognised as his strength, within the midfield of course, not meaning he has the throughball vision. Bakayoko on the other hand is a fücking carcrash to watch on the ball that doesn't know the first basic of midfield ball control. A nigga who routinely gets dispossessed on the turn after receiving the ball.

And as a pseudo-cognoscente your polemics are based on just one game. You've watched him thrice this season, and you make inane conclusions. Apparently you are a shït connoisseur. Do you like any good players?

Our midfield will not have anyone that 'comes to the ball' if Kante and Bakayoko were to be the partnership. You always need the man that comes to the ball, assuming Kante will always seek to go the other way. Bakayoko is utterly incapable of coming to the ball or keeping the midfield flowing.

I suggest we look for another person, or go with Chalobah. This dude doesn't cut it at all for me.

Going forward? Matic is completely useless and don't bring me the Matic assist card, Matic on the ball is plain torture. His ball recovery skills, speed and quick initiation of attack are miles better compared to Matic. A game can't be used to judge him when he is partnering with Kante for the first time against a clinical and experienced Spanish midfield. Here is someone who was a thorn in the flesh of Spurs. That comment was before the start of this season, pretty much explains itself.

Mehn I've watched 3 games so far. My main problem is his clumsiness ie speed of turning when receiving a pass. I want to put it down to nerves of only his 2nd game for France but having followed up with his YouTube videos, this guy no be am at all. You can't be taking 1.5 seconds to trap the ball and turn when fellow midfielders are taking 0.5 seconds. This guy cannot receive the ball in any tight area of midfield. I dey very disappointed say you call this guy name with a technically refined dude like Yaya Toure. You should have said Salif Diao or Justice Christopher. No, no, no, this guy is poor. Chalobah is 10 times better than him technically. He made Kante look as technically accomplished as Fabregas today even though Kante had an average game.

First time he played with Tolisso and Kante (both wonderful players who equally had a bad game today) compared to Busquets and Iniesta. Made it clear last time that he still has to improve, tonights game was a show of inexperience in the French midfield especially when you have to play against Spain.

He's shown he's a top talent at Monaco all season long. Not your ideal player to get you off your seats but an upgrade on Matic (Based on what Matic offers to the team). Expect Conte to improve him.

My interest in all this, is "ABU" the University. Some Years ago, the Mechanical Or Electrical Engineering Department(Cant remember which one) ran into problems, and it was big News then, because it was discovered that about 60% of the students then did not have the Basic "O" level requirements of 5 Credits to be in School.

Nearly all were of Northern Extraction.

This happened in either 1994, 1995 or 1996. It was a big National Embarrassment to the school then, as it showed that to ensure people of Northern Extraction get educated by all means, special preferences were made for them even if they were not qualified.

I am sure Dino got admitted around this time, so the school is culpable in this.

There are two Federal Universities in Nigeria i have no single respect for. ABU and the University Of Port-Harcourt. Uni port is the dumping ground of all dumping grounds.

It got so bad that in 2010 or 2011 the School was blacklisted by the United States.

Uni-port is for people with 2 WAEC Credits. I am sure that is why there has never been a Uniport Product known for anything in the world,NOT ONE.

This is what I am saying. People who seek to be cut 'some slack' are in all likelihood not 'driven' people. You shouldn't bother to work with/under her. Serious clashes are bound to happen.

Mistakes, errors and fails happens, being "driven" or not. Having Someone who understands you in charge gives you a better chance of delivering effectively. That doesn't mean she should drop aside the professionalism part of it, still applying the necessary pressure. But once in a while, Love does its thing.

According to Squawka, his worst performance this season was against City. He has a pass accuracy of 87% with 78% being forward passes. Decent partner for Kante but he still needs to improve and a little conte in his football would get the best out of him. btw, I don't see Conte sticking to 3-4-3 next season.

Funny enough Chelsea have a player that can do all these plus has great vision for that position. I am talking of Chalobah.

Bakayoko's got similar passing range compared to Yaya Toure, technically good but not much of a goal scorer like him. On the other hand Chalobah's not at that level yet to be entrusted with the job Bakayoko does at Monaco. Maybe in 2-3 years provided he gets enough games and improve.
