Everything boils down to illiteracy. These two regions, currently so hot with violence and killings have their root cause to illiteracy.

If children in the north are made to attend good schools instead of being an almajiri on the streets begging,the north wouldn’t have degenerated to this point. Same applies to the pple of South East,if the Ibo boys are being encouraged to attend good schools instead of encouraging only their girls,the region wouldn’t have deteriorated to it’s present State. In the South East,we hear and see how young boys are pushed to go learn trade by fire by force...most eventually drop out to become nuisance to the society and their region as a whole.

In essence,illiteracy is the known bedrock of all these chaos in the two regions.

The South West pple will continue to attend school and be useful...reason why d region is currently at peace.

Op isn’t saying there are no illiterates in the SouthWest.

I like Osinbanjo as a person, but with the present Nigerian situation; insecurity in North and south east, he lacks the ability to lead the country out of the quagmire. If peradventure he becomes the President, Ipob will blackmail him, bully him, they will demonize him and his tribe. He does not have the guts and balls to weather such a situation. Osinbanjo is a men-pleaser like Gej. Ipob and Northern bandits will capitalize on his indecision to wreck havoc. Let us not be emotional, I like him as a person, but as a leader? No. Marwa, Fashola, Akeredolu and El-Rufai will do far better as a President than Osinbanjo.
