Mehn una nor dey try here oooooo, haven't you guys heard of the word IGNORE? How can we become great officers if we don't know how to keep our cool bridle our tongues and not be easily provoked? Like this I be they think say some of us go they give great insights and ideas on how to take 2weeks leave from work without getting sacked. Mostly especially when option of resigning or yearly leave is not on the table anymore. Nowadays if you nor sabi IGNORE trash talk wey nor conform to you, you respond, your BP fit high. Since the demise of My camp commandant, the great Mangojuice, Bash moral dey low. the last moral wey I get now na to go write the test and check for update from spetnaz, eclipsehemmy and co. PS I learnt we lost some personnels today, IED. Do we know what their families and those who have lost loved ones in the cause of this job is going through? let's not rubbish their memory with our careless talks. Abeg if you nor get interest, you don f**k up by applying abeg, I take my grandpapa beg you nor go write the test so that things go dey easier for your village people wey get interest. Coz na these same set wey nor get interest, wey just wan try dey end up getting the job and go come turn menace to the society and spoil the organization name. Abeg nor write the test so that Ogun nor go kill you oooo Abeg make we Take dressing and stand at ease 7 Likes |

Oluwaseyi12:it subjects to Army Selection board discretion if you fall within the age needed for SSC. you will then have to resume as SSC instead of DSSC this is at the final shortlist. Though it won't be forced on you, you will have the choice of accepting the SSC offer or quitting the Army dream. It happened in DSSC24/SSC45 2018 enlistment. 2 Likes |

As regards issues about J boy and how tough he can be, Those of us who are 27 downwards and applied for DSSC, it's not Uhuru yet, don't be happy that if you get even to Selection Board you ain't gonna meet Jboy and his training doctrines, there are chances you will be issued SSC except maybe you are a doctor. Dannyhonda:Loving the Armed Forces or taking a shot at it is relative from one individual to another and you and I don't have access to a large sample of doctors to make a unanimous decision so let's leave at that, we are only privy to our little sample space, reason why I said those not willing or having the means to relocate out of the country. Gone are those days where Drs usually graduate at a very old age, for the past 5-7yrs, judging using my Alma mater which is a Federal school. Medical graduates are quite young, in same age bracket with their engineering, law counterparts and I believe it's relatively same across several uni in the country. Sir, when I mentioned passion, discipline patience first before small brain, I know what I am talking about. I have sieen so many super intelligent guys dropped out of med school (not because of financial reasons or ill health oo) and the OK guys graduate successfully and become good practitioners. Irrespective of whatsoever their curriculum is, it's the same patience, discipline, dedication and small brain that would make you successful across every course discipline. With all due respect to the Medical Field, excluding the small periodic tests in the Med school, their Major Exam is the Junior MBBS at say year 4 and the main MBBS exam plus the Pathology and Pharmacology exams then Clinicals, these are mainly the exams where a particular score or grade is allotted a pass mark. Don't you think same is applicable is some specific courses and discipline? P. S Don't just conclude using what you may have experienced. Take yourself as a case study if you couldn't complete medical school say you failed, when you are taken to a different location with the right motivation, enabling environment and little effort from your end you will make a good doctor Hope you're having a great Sunday? 2 Likes |

Dannyhonda:Nor reason am ooooooo most Medical Doctors, Dentist, Optometrist, Pharmacist, Nurses, Radiographers that do not intend to leave the Country after their study in the uni usually aim their target at different arms of Nigerian Military especially if age dey their side. Dem know as e dey go, It's easier for them to enlist and dem don get the orientation. Let's not Shake this table of medicine being beans or not, what I know is that anyone with passion, discipline, Patience (Endurance) and small brain fit read medicine and any course. 2 Likes |

sikowitz17: DSSC do not write exams for Promotion, they're judged based on their PER (Performance Evaluation Report) but for them to convert I think they write exams or also go for a kind of exam trials. So as a DSSC you will need to be watchful how many of your state and zone coursemates are Doctors, how many doctors are your direct seniors and direct juniors from same state. If dem many na to start to pull godfather strings ooo. As a Lt. Col Medical officer, you can be the commander of a DMSH sef, even some majors and Captain Doctors dey be CO or acting Commander of some Brigade or Battalion MRS. Moreover hope you know medical personnels both Officers and NCO's usually have a special or different salary incentives than other Corps. A Corporal Nurse can be earning as high as a Staff Sergeant or WO in otger Corps. Even a WO Nurse can Earn as high as a Captain if not more. na only Finance Corps personnel dey rival their pay, If you know you know 3 Likes |
