The idea was DAAD were supposed to be part of the interview that was the reason all German applicants were told to select abuja. but they are not coming anymore so choose a center close to you please.

Ok, though my First choice is France, it's my second and third choice that is Germany and because of my job conditions location the Abuja journey is to and fro and meeting up with strigent work conditions

At the first advert, it was stated that those who choose Schools in Germany to select Abuja, now they are giving chances to choose another centre, will it be wise to change centre or stick with the Abuja choice.

Not all schools and courses in German schools are under the DAAD sponsorship scheme. Take Note

ok Sir but how do I know the schools that are under the daad sponsorship scheme? is it the same one advertised on the application guidelines? because if you check the guidelines, it says  Candidates for scholarships in Germany are at liberty to apply to any University in Germany

Good day guys. I need clarification on German schools. I picked a school while perusing DAAD portal. However, while filling out the Ptdf form this particular school has no course under it (just blank).

How do I get around this?

i have been stuck on this same stage too. while applying,the school and course I chose using the daad.de site is not even on the application portal. Tho in the advert/guidelines we were told we can apply to any school in Germany.

I tried calling their helpline, but it is not going through yet.

No, you can only select 3 schools (except if they have changed the application process), however, beyond the application on PTDF portal, apply to as many schools as you can.

I got the award to study Physics and Applications in UPMC but that is not where I am currently studying or the course either because they have cancelled their partnership with UPMC and the school removed from PTDF portal. I had to move to Engineering side where I currently study Nuclear Engineering in IMT Atlantique, a Grande Ecole School in France where PTDF pays 24k euros for each of us (we are two).

Because of the expensive cost of Nuclear Engineering and their no negotiation stance on cutting the cost(I suppose), PTDF have removed Nuclear Engineering from their list of sponsored subjects to others with lower cost anyway. Aside IMT Atlantique, other France schools on that list are tuition free(public school).

Guys don't apply to one school. Apply to as many schools as possible. Especially those coming to France.

Even if you have lecturers grade or the one greater than 1st class, apply to many schools. French schools will bounce you. You will get many rejections, I mean many.

So keep spending applications, if possible to about 10 schools. Lol.

If you get France, then PTDF partnership will also help you

so you mean, during the application process I can select up to 10 schools from both France and Germany

Start from ur highest qualification to the lowest wc is probably MSC, BSC, SSCE, then PSLC in that order and grade should be in class of degree e.g second class ........
