Hi guys. I got admission on Friday last week for Hochschule Stralsund - Renewable Energy. I have gotten a Certificate of Presence" from the university.

What do i do next?
I reside in Abuja and wish to use the Abuja consulate office. Please, can anyone send me the Abuja application link? Secondly, I wish to know if Abuja is favorable for a successful student visa outcome.

I was at the embassy today in abuja consulate..I must admit the rate of F1 visa denial is very high..

but I have rescheduled before. cancelling an appointment, will I be demanded to pay a new fee?

If they are willing to extend your resumption to 29th and your interview is 13th, then it's still fine, just be sure to take along the extension letter to the interview. However, if i were you and you haven't resceduled before,i will still keep looking for a closer date as a back up plan

my school gave me resumption extension (Jan 29) because of visa delay.. and my next appointment is on the 24th of January (same abuja). although I'm still praying on finding a closer date for rescheduling

I need your suggestions,

should I defer to summer and extend the appointment date? or still hang around hopes for rescheduling on a closer date?

Apply as soon as possible because dates are limited also still choose abuja to give yourself a better chance of getting a date and possibly a visa ..all the best.
As soon as you pay your visa fee , quickly book a date on the cgifederal site and then you can later fill the ds160 and update the new ds160 in your profile. Dates are limited now.

I think I wasn't audience enough, then in filling my ds-160 I used myself as the one paying for the trip and also I didn't include my current job there.

I have been a silent reader on this thread and I really appreciate your individual contributions.

However, my F-1 visa was delayed yesterday at abuja consulate office. My school is resuming 13th of January 2020 and I wish to reapply as soon as possible.


When do you I need start filling a new ds-160, I was told i can only reschedule after three days. Please do I need to start a new ds-160 now and pay for a new visa fee so I can easily reschedule on that Friday. Friday is the third date which I am eligible to book an appointment.


Please i need your individual advise
