I have no issues with this Stream 2 thing...but they should just tell us where we stand before next week. Like the sms notification thing they did last year.

Plus, am I the only one that noticed that the DG said some people will be mobilized "this month" without expressly saying "24th"

I need your help guys, i was given a wrong state of origin by NYSC. Instead of Edo, they gave me Sokoto. So i took my green paper to NYSC’s headquarters in benin. On getting there, they said that the mistake came from my school. So, that same day i reported the matter to the school(student affairs).
Now the school is saying that they can not do anything about it because they have uploaded my name already.
Now am confused, my name didn't even come out in the error list released by the school then. I would have fixed this problem. Am afraid that this will affect me.
I need your advice and help if possible.

a wrong state of origin should not be of much concern. what i think you should do is take along your state of origin doc to camp for correction. you shouldn't worry yourself over something as minor as this. Just hold along the right doc and it will be rectified since it wasn't your fault.

Morning folks.I have been thinking aloud since yesterday,hope Ondo gubernatorial election won't force Nysc to push camping date forward.

If camps were to open 24th and election is to be held 26th in Ondo,what will do deploy to the state do?

ondo election can't make NYSC change dates. Just that i feel for pcm's that will be sent there because the area will be tensed during that camping period. like guruvivicawelt wrote up there, the only thing that cant affect camping now is lack of funds

hmmm me i will still blame d skul o.. cus clearance dont have a deadline.. its everybody can do it @ there own pace. nobody can predict d future..i dont know wah caused d strike tho, buh for d sake of peepz going for nysc the skul should have opened some offices. my skul did same for d people who went for batch A, then non academic staffs were on strike buh some offices esp those related to clearance were forced to work.. so ah tink d skul management need to consider people with diz kinda issue.. its heartless not to...

yes, i understand you. The school ought to make arrangements with people in charge of SOR collection but what you need to understand is that you have to go through rigorous processes to get stamps at various units in school before you can finally get cleared to get the SOR. Bad thing about it is that most of this unit is controlled by NASU and they are also part of the aggrieved workers on strike. i just hope and pray they call the long break off soon cos people are frustrated already.

The week am planning to go Ogb. and collect my SOR, Na so dem padlock the school which wasn't my fault.

I heard that faculty of engineering has provide measures for their students to get the SOR(Am not sure abt this info)

As per ID card, We were all given ID card after our IT wch will expire this December (Still valid for NYSC) wch means everyone should have ID card by now.

The koko is make dem resume this Monday as per wat is on ground.

i also hope they resume soonest so that people can carry on with their clearance and proceed for SOR collection. atleast another ladokite also shares my view about the id card. Even the mail they sent yesterday evening points towards resumption. also heard about Monday and i sincerely hope it's true

yeah true talk.. i was about quoting him b4 i saw ur reply.. me too i delayed ma clearance, not because of procrastination buh @dah point e b like na me recession worri pass, so i had to go home and prepare well, thank God ma skul no go strike like urs sha buh still just try see if u can go tru someone. a prof or a "somebody" in ur skul.. first try get ur sor or cert.. ID na small tin

you wrote that you delayed your clearance for some obvious reasons which is understandable but my question is that would you have blamed your school if they went on strike before you got back or you would have asked yourself why didnt you wait a lil bit to finish up your clearance

you see where the issue lies, it's not the schools fault a student cant complete his or her clearance cos they owing or a cross over student who hasnt done faculty clearance. We students most times do things when it's convenient for us. I'm not here to argue on who is right or wrong, im just saying most issues are caused by us and not the school.

I never finish my clearance so I don't have of SOR or CERT,and from 100 to 500 for LAUTECH ,I no get school ID,ladokite would relate

the only thing i can relate to and i believe it's same with other ladokite is that, before going on IT (class2015) which was 2014, we were given new school id cards which will expire by dec 2016. so, if you have misplaced yours or didn't get it as at then, you shouldn't blame LAUTECH. Secondly, issue of Issuance of SOR isnt entirely the schools fault rather yours because i believe procrastination led to this. only fault LAUTECH has is that they have closed down school activities which has really disturbed students from completing their clearance and getting their SOR since mid to late june 2016.

she is good to go. Nysc mobilised her based on the date her result was approved by her school senate and according to your write up, she wasnt 30 as at then. She doesn't need an affidavit.
