I received a mail from them not long saying my request to schedule appointment has been approved. However upon clicking the link and all, this is what I’m seeing.

So I want to ask if this is how it is and that I need to always check back to see if there is any changes or what?

I’m done filling out the appointment form and I’ve inputted my payment reference after which I got a pop up that it’s being reviewed and I will get a mail once approved.

I want to know if that’s the process cos I didn’t see anywhere to pick a date.

This is strange. I’m guessing you didn’t choose the self assistance option. You may have to go to your VAC for upload.

Take a screenshot of the page and blur out your VAF number. The upload icon should be just after the track icon

1-Visa fee remains 160usd or 72,000 naira until May 30th when the new visa fee regime would take effect. The fee will increase from $160 to $185 USD due to the extended validity of B1/B2 Visa from 2 years to 5 years. Go to the gtb app and there you'd find all the fee categories in Naira

Click on the first link and follow all the instructions. You can create a profile once you're done signing up and book your appointment.

Yea it sure depends and I don’t expect an active employee to stay that long outside the country. The said uncle is a retiree and the son is on a student visa abroad.

The date you fill in your form doesn’t matter as long as you didn’t exceed your stay (visa validity). Just recently, a friend’s uncle was in a similar issue. He applied for for a week vacation on a 6months visa but ended up staying for 5months. He recently just got his 2 years uk visa last month

You can pay for assisted on-site when you get to your center. It isn’t an issue:

Sometime ago, i was going for a vacation in California and I intended visiting Knotts Berry Farm and Disneyland close-by. I imputed only the knott berry farm's contact details in my DS-160 but mentioned Disneyland in addition,during my interview. The rest was history.

You can input the name of the tourist attraction center you plan to visit incl their phone numbers and probably email details
OR
Input the name and contact of the hotel you want to stay if staying in hotels

So I started filling my DS-160 form and I presently need your clarification on the part where I need to input U.S. Point of contact information.

I intend going for tourism and I have made my accommodation booking regarding that. So I’m confused in the contact person they want me to input.

Can the house help me clarify what to input for the contact person surname and given names as well as the organization name.

My plan is solely for tourism and vacation.

I'm not an agent please. I applied for my bro. And it was zero I put, maybe you misunderstood. I have applied for my parents so many times without issues. His case is just different being a student hence why I have come for advice here. Will a departmental letter suffice as an evidence? I know attendance may be difficult to prove in a school like OAU. Please your suggestions are needed..what other things can he get as a proof. And he may not have enough in his account , can he still submit his bank statement like that? Thank you for your input

Departmental letter, school id card, semester results and several documents to prove his studentship.

Was it the same form you edited. Was it done on the UKVI portal. Or you mean you edited on paper and inputed.

What I meant was that, I made reference to my previous form and inputted similar details except for where there are changes.

Update on my visa renewal application 2yrs tourist visa.

Submitted application online on April 6, 2023.

Transferred to DMC same day

Received by DMC on April 11, 2023. (Due to the holidays)

Transferred to VAC April 18, 2023

Passport picked up today April 19, 2023.

It literally took like 5 working days.

Initial successful visa application was 6 months which I did last year even-though I had two previous refusals in 2016 and 2021 (I always declare them).

In filling this form, just as a lot of people have advised, I basically used most of the information on my last form and edited the few part that needed to be updated.

I always pay to get my documents uploaded - doing it myself is too stressful.

I don't think there's anything to worry about. Even if you upload the documents yourself, you can also make a mistake.

Next time, keep asking the official if all the documents you submitted were uploaded. Some of them can be funny and will give you attitude. Ignore. You paid for a service and you must get value for your money.

The £4k was actually inclusive of hotel accommodation and flights; both totaling about £2k. Evidence was attached. But other contributors have suggested I review downwards, and that’s noted. In my next application, I will make sure to detail all my proposed expenses in a cover letter.
I’ve kuku opened another account where all my side hustle money will be entering😄. My application did state that other monies from my organization was paid in as communication, bonuses, perdiem etc. I wonder why they ignored it🤷🏻‍♀️ and TBH, I didn’t think I should explain why other monies entered my acct. length of work was in my introduction letter written by the HR. So but anyway, we’ll try again soon.

That is fine. For me as well, I have a different account I receive unexplained money from side hustle so I don’t complicate things for myself.

I only get to submit my salary statement of account which shows my salary and allowances. I also submit my savings account on the PiggyVest platform and tag it savings. Even with all this, I always write a cover letter detailing some notable transactions in the statements submitted

Hope they don't make mistake skipping any documents when scanning?. The lady that attended to me.the way she was behaving . Is still making me anxious that hope she didn't skip any while scanning them. I couldn't really view those documents when I gave them to her to see if she scanned all. Please should I have rest of mind. Someone should help.

I feel human factor can happen so omitting a doc or documents can happen. This is the reason like to upload myself as I have drafted a list of the documents that I will be uploading just to be sure I’m not leaving anything out during rush hours.
