otis54: My Starlink gen 2 went offline just this evening and has been throwing the error message STARLINK UNPLUGGED OR REBOOTING. Decided to send a message to support and Grok ai decided on its own to send me a new gen 3 kit for free after it tried to communicate with my Starlink gen 2 unit and it couldn’t all in less than a few minutes of chatting with it (Grok ai). Elon musk you do well ooo.
My problem now is how to mount it once the gen 3 unit arrives. My brother.. I dey your shoe so.. I complained to Support that the speed am getting on my Gen2 no be am.. Support checked it and concluded that something must be wrong with my Gen2 router. Last Thursday, they wired me free 1 month sub for my inconveniences and sent down full Gen3 Kit via DHL at zero cost. It arrived on Tuesday ie from Thursday - Tuesday and. They advised me not sell nor give away my full Gen2 Kit (Infact, i still get extra 75m network cable for Gen2 inside its carton). Dunno wat to do with it sef . To mount, u will need to buy pole mount bracket (see pix below) which I ordered from Aliexpress. I hope to receive it down next week. I already have a long pole i plan on using to permanently mount the Gen3 dish I am still managing my Gen2 stuff till my pole mount bracket arrives In summary, u need a pole mount bracket. Order am now now

dustmalik: 😂😂😂 Have you gotten a mount? I'm looking at getting the adapter first. Without it, one can't use a pole..Elon is crazy, i swear.. The only thing i see here is won't have to buy any ethernet adapter. The Gen3 router already has an extra port for that I will have to make use of the mount/Pole currently using for the Gen2. Scanning the sky from that side gave me 99.99% clear sky view

Nazgul: England qualified for the world cup since last month. Yet all their star players came and played today's game which was even an away match and won.
Our players can never do that. Just put in fighting spirit and win they can't. Na wa o It's typical of us Nigerians |

ijeezlux: Bros, 90k to 75k for mount is on the high side for some people..... Starlink mount is one of the easiest thing a welder will construct for you in less than one hour and it won't even cost more than 15k. All the mount are super solid both the welders own and official starlink mount, we have both in my compound Welder dey opposite my house. He will do the job when the thing arrives . Means i go get full Gen2 Kit (router and dish just lying fallow) . dustmalik: Since you are in Lagos, you will receive it on Monday, latest Tuesday. You will probably receive a notification on Monday morning that it has shipped.
Starlink now has Gen 3 stock in excess, even here in Nigeria. Good.. Na installation headache i get now. Cos unlike the Gen2 that's very easy to fix. This one ehn.. Been watching lots of YouTube videos on installation of this Kit |

johnnyholtby: Nice! One of the perks of buying directly from starlink. Yes, unauthorized third-party resellers hardware can be cheaper but no after purchase support (unlike buying directly from starlink) You can say that again.. I have been getting constant after sale support since 2023 i bought directly from Starlink . My new Gen3 Kit will arrive between Nov 22-29 |

Family › Re: I Finally Quit My Marriage. by georgee(m): 6:47am On Nov 13, 2025 |
I'm sure OP is part of men who kneeled and begged his ex-wife to marry him all in the name of proposing and yeye romance . Naturally most women don't respect SIMPS. Women can easily see through men and bring out our weakness. But if ur woman know say plenty craze dey your head, tell me how she will hit and beat you. Ko possible . Even to discuss children's school fee matter with you sef, she will need to comport herself, serve you better dinner and sit quietly bedside you before landing the matter . But wen una go dey kneel down beg woman to marry u because of booooobs and yaaaaaansh wey go tire you few months into marriage , she sees herself as a demi goddess and starts misbehaving . Most women don't misbehave to their husbands with craze and money to take care of her the family. Emphasis on the CRAZE aspect . Men should stop acting like sissies and act like men

johnnyholtby: Hello everyone. I'm thinking of getting a starlink mini due to standard starlink's high hardware cost (compared to the mini). I just want to ask about what I'd be missing out on.
Also, can the mini actually replace the standard for residential usage? Planned connected devices around 3-8 (phones, android tv and laptop). It'd be nice to know expected download and upload speeds (I know it's on starlink's website but I need a confirmed speeds if possible) I'm in Osogbo so starlink is still onboarding in my location.
I plan to mount the mini so I won't be moving it.
The price difference between the mini and the standard V3 is just too much for me (350k and over 600k) I will just comment on the speeds For us in Lagos where there's heavy congestion of users, our speeds are not that bad though.. I get between 50-100Mbps download speed and 15Mbps upload speeds Two smart Tvs Two android boxes 2 phones Tablets Laptops too The speed still serves me very very well. My starlink is V2 For you in Oshogbo where i think there won't be too much congestion irrespective of your starlink version , you should be fine with all the gadgets you want to use on it Cheers |

joburoh: Hello All, i just got my starlink device and it is saying its at full capacity, does it mean i wouldn't be able to active the device? You just got? Directly from Starlink (which I doubt) or through 3rd party vendors Jumia and co (most likely) . I want to believe you are in Lagos or Abuja which is at full capacity and Starlink is currently not activating/onboarding new clients . You will have to keep it and wait on starlink for activation when they are ready |
