green10119: Hello guys am currently having issues activating my starlink from Lagos, getting the attached error message, please how do i solve this? Did you buy starlink directly from starlink website or through 3rd party? I think you would have been made to pay for activation fee if bought directly from Starlink and wouldn't be having this issue For now, Starlink is at full capacity in Lagos and Abuja and not sure they are currently onboarding new customers |

saint2ace: The Airtel X25 pro 5G router works just fine and still transmits at Cat6 speed. Just make sure you pre-configure your User ID and password before connecting and of course remove any SIM card. Also works as an extender when paired to other routers via LAN. I'm talking about the MTN 5G router bro |

ijeezlux: I just noticed that one of the best router to use alongside starlink mini is that old mtn hynetflex router. .before now I have been having issues on how to use a third party router without activating the starlink mini router bypass mode. . I have 3 old routers that I bought previously and was about disposing them. I tried two of the old router without bypassing the starlink, they didn't work very well. I even bought an ethernet switch from jumia for 18k, but the switch turned out to be fake and inferior. It didn't work and i Was very angry. Sometin just told me to try the hynetflex router because I have not tried it with the starlink before. I tested it with the starlink mini, surprisingly it worked very well without activating the starlink bypass mode. Presently the internet speed of my android tv box alone is around 80Mbps Maybe my MTN 5G router fit work with Starlink as a 3rd party router instead of this my tplink router Has anyone tried the MTN 5G router alongside starlink as a 3rd party router? |

geeetee: can confirm airtel unlimited does have an FUP ...tho it is not in anyway stated in their site. I've been stuck @ kbps download speeds for past 3 days but constant 20mbps upload speeds..
i downloaded 300gbs worth within a week so i believe that triggered it. its honestly sad to see these people scam ngns so openly and get away with it, the only mention of an FUP ive seen from airtel is via their twitter page here https://x.com/AirtelNigeria/status/1890156103243063359 https://x.com/addoghe/status/1874566292763812145
where they claim the FUP is the 20mbps speeds they give users, however this is simply false and invalid. But someone on this thread swore that there was no FUP on Airtel unlimited plan, that you can use 3TB/month and nothing will happen |

toluxa1: Retired? Most people who are already using Starlink will hardly ditch it. Maybe deter new users but I don't think you can have many starlink users beings being retired. So what will they do with their device. They already know starlink, know it's reliability. To ditch and sell your Starlink that's already great for something you're not sure of, doesn't sound like a decision "many" people will jump at. For now, i can't leave Starlink for anything |

Godblessme1: God bless Elon musk.
God bless starlink
I got the mini today and installed it. I've never experienced good internet in my entire life in this Nigeria.
I've been streaming FHD and even watching live Europa final right now. So amazing and my mind is at rest without having to panic my data will finish.
I was spending almost 60k a month on MTN and I was not satisfied I will be managing data. Chai MTN dealt with me and it will never be well with MTN.
The area I live it's only MTN working i was left with no choice to be using only MTN since December last year.
I'm full of joy. Thank you all on this thread that replied to my quote when I was seeking for advice getting starlink Congratulations and welcome to truly unlimited internet |

Easyinfoguide: Tips 1* If your application is showing 'pending' after successful payment and document upload, that usually means it's under review. The next step is to wait for processing—sometimes they send a text or update the status when it's time for capturing or final approval. Just keep checking the portal every few days. Let me know if it stays like that too long—we can look into possible follow-up options. Great I am successful.. I chose virtual verification and paid 1,275.00 through VVS (Vehicle Verification Software) online to verify my VIN After successful verification, an invoice was generated. I proceeded to complete my application (virtual verification). Uploaded all documents.. Side, front, back of my car, VIN (as it appears on car), driver license, my doctor's report (glasses specifications), passport photograph. I chose lagos and one police command afterwards Then submitted.. It took me to a place for face capture. After face capture (with plenty bright light), took me to another place for face capture again by placing my face in a circle and moving in different angles.. E hard oo At last i was successful and i clicked submit Payment Status - Successful (14,200) Request Status- Pending I achieved all these today.. Started around noon and concluded 6pm |

Dhilariousdandy: The portal is working fine, I once thought it wasn’t working. Here’s the solution:
Resize all your documents to be 2mb or less. You can use this website https://www.simpleimageresizer.com/resize-image-to-2-mb (note I’m not affiliated to the website, that’s what I used)
Convert any of your vehicle documents that’s in pdf to image and make sure they are below 2mb too.
Then fill in all the necessary infos and you’ll be good to go.
It will now take you to a page that you’ll need to make a payment. I paid 14,200 naira. After that, it will take you to a video verification page where it will capture your face to match it up with the passport you uploaded initially.
Now, this face is a little bit tricky. Make sure you’re in an environment with enough lighting if not, use your phone light, point it directly to your face and open your eyes widely while following the onscreen instruction so the system can match it up easily.
After that you’re good to go and await the final stage. I’m currently at that stage now. Awaiting the completion of my application.
Note: if you get an error message, keep trying, it will work once you follow the process I listed here. I am in Lagos state Live in Surulere and work in Victoria island Which of the Police Zone did you choose? |
