it came to a point were I felt the politicians wants to control or politicized even the giving out of voters card but this is so obvious. I'm not keen on voting but at least I felt I had a right to vote so the voters card should be given to me to decide either to vote or not.

I read an article were The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) should commence in all local government areas of Kano, Edo, Plateau, Ogun and Imo states from November 7 to 9.

A public Holiday had been declared but till Today November 9, most of us here in Kano have not been able to recieve our cards.
According to my understanding, when you visit the Voters registration center to collect the Card, You have to present the Previous Voters Card received in 2011.

Right now, I am at the Center (the very place i registered 2011) we have been coming here for three consecutive days but only 2 among the 6 polling Units In the Center had been coming to give out the Voters Card.

Unfortunately, we who registered with the remaining 4 polling units that had not been coming are yet to receive our Voters card i am just pissed right now due to the waste of time and transport fare. I don't know if they are going to extend it or something. i felt i'm not the only one experiencing this ish.
