Well I dunno why that happened sha... but in the real scenario it doesn't makes sense, in a cruise liner... They are just passengers (They can't be called crew) I think the officers on duty didn't carried out their duty properly by evacuating everyone on the ship, cos once the 'abandon ship' alarm is signalled by the Master, then every crew and passenger must run to their Life raft station for further instructions.. maybe that part was made up to make the movie more emotional and interesting, cos no sane person will keep playing their instruments when there's an emergency which may result in death...

You may google this if you want; The ochestra musicians in the titanic [real life, not movie] kept playing thier music to calm people down as long as possible. there were 8 in numbers. they refused to get into the live boats but kept playing till the ship sank and they all died. there are still remembered as heros till today.

That's the captain's duty to ascertain all crews and passengers onboard his ship are safe and accountable during fire accident, Abandon ship.... ship wreckage

That's why captains are brave and not coward
I heard the jazz players on the ship refuse to abort the ship but kept playing the music till the whole ship sank [not base on d movie but in real life]

"When I was a teen I usually followed our driver neighbor to do conductor work with his danfo, I do that every holiday to help support my family and one day we were working and one of my school teachers entered our bus and I immediately hid my face. I stayed in an uncomfortable position for long cos I did not want her to see me, I was ashamed.
I even didn't want to collect bus money, I just wanted her to alight and leave without seeing my face but she managed to see me and surprisingly she was so happy that I was working, she noticed I was ashamed and talked to me about dignity of labor and told me not to care about what people think as long as what I'm doing is legal. I became her favorite student till I finished secondary school."
I love the way you write. keep it up.

Proudly Islam

For those who keep quoting me, abeg, take a cue from history. And besides, it's not an offence to have mentioned her religion is it? Afterall it's glaring from the picture. Same way I am proud of the youngest person to have qualified with a medical degree from LUTH, also a Muslim lady. Same way you have Nobel prize winners that also wear the hijab. Don't like it, deal with it

When You Walk Through a Storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the Storm
There's a golden sky
And a sweet silver song of a lark

Walk On through the wind
Walk On through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed
and blown
Walk On Walk On
With Hope in your Heart
And You'll Never Walk Alone
You'll Never Walk Alone

Walk On, Walk On
With Hope in your Heart
And You'll Never Walk Alone
You'll ne-ver walk Alone

Business / Re: Hausa Ajami/Arabic Inscriptions Removed From New N100 Note by Georgematics(m): 7:48pm On Nov 17, 2014
Built2last:
The next to be removed should be the Arabic inscriptions on our military badges, and rankings....Nigeria is a secular state...period.

This madness has to stop, National assembly is built like a mosque, the presidential villa is built like a mosque....This country belongs to us all and is never a religious state. visit any ministry, parastatal or agency of the government in Abuja. the master plan of those buildings have mosques...They couldn't have the freedom to do that in Lagos, and came up with the script that the capital of Nigeria has to be at the center of Nigeria.

We just need to be security conscious cos in matter of days the news that Hausa/Islamic Inscriptions has been removed will go viral, they will tag all of us HARNI (meaning Unbeliever) and may go on rampage killing themselves not me.

I remember my uncle who was a member of MPR telling me that Soludo had good plans for the Naira but the northern hegemony wont allow him. That his problem with Yaradua began the day he raised it in their meeting that Nigeria is a secular state and so should not have any religious inscription in our currency. He said YARADUA heard of it before that meeting ended. Of course his brothers informed him. Yaradua called Soludo as the meeting was ending to ask how true.

Most people think Soludos tenure was not renewed because of the planned devaluation of the naira which presidency claims they were not carried along. but the inscription on the naira was the genesis of Soludos crisis with Yaradua. OBJs grand plan was that Soludo should remain and complete the devaluatuion plan.

In days to come expect the northern elites reaction to this removal.and may be Bokoharam taking more innocent lives in protest...Nigeria belongs to them and we are their slaves...so an average northerner thinks.

Except for those suffering from historical Amnesia, the 2015 struggle to take power by the north is never born out of the love for Nigeria. The North has not forgiven Southern Nigeria for the death of Yaradua. In their heart, in their mosques, its a subject of discuss that Jonathan is seating on their chance and must be unseated no matter what. Ineeded, Jonathan has disappointed all of us greatly but the North seeking power on the premise that it belongs to them or based on vendetta is a NO NO for me and all intellectual minds. If you are up north during the election, and Jonathan is declared winner, better run for your life. They will unleash the evil dragon, what Bokoharam is doing now is childs play compared to the plan.

bookmark this and quote me later.

Thanks for dat post!
A word is enough for the wise!
believe me when I say the whispers we hear over here in the north is nothing a rational person from either west or south should hear and still wants to try his luck by staying in northern Nigeria come 2015. This guys are ready to slay any non-muslim in the north if Jonathan wins next year and for sure he is going to win. pls, my brethren over here (north) let's not take chances, we live but ones.
